Panic mode over my Chem4

I've been gifted a few cuts from a friends who grows out this great chem, and I seem to have a completely different plant. I'm ending the 4th week and it's looks beautiful, very healthy except there is very little trich production on the buds. Don't know if this is normal for chem or maybe the lights are too close.

and the color is not that dark just a setting issue with the camera.

I'm running the HG coco full line at just under their recommended dosages with a little big bud at rec dosages calmag and ro water in Canna coco and chunky perlite under 1000 watt bulbs with a temp of about 75.

I really starting to freak out cause I have like 5 of the huge bushes and it this doesn't pick up I think i might have to chunk it now.

that doesnt look like any chem ive seen bro... i mean your not giving a huge photo for people to see the entire stucture of the plant but judging from those bud shots you dont have any chem... az

at any rate - i wouldnt stress about that too much. wait for the bud development. if nothing happens by then, take some pictures of the salty buds....


i've had stuff not get SHIT until i have like NUGS, then they frost up quick.

dont know, but if you think your growing chem and its really something different, remember

nothing is true everything is permissible.

I don't know if that's Chemdog #4 or not for sure. They seem quite healthy so I wouldn't say you have a deficiency. If anything maybe a tadd to much N, but I've seen darker plants that still produce resin. I think the main reason they look like that and possibly produces little resin is purely because of genetics.

Interesting about the resin coming in later. So it's possible that those nugs might frost up soon or later ay.

Well you know I don't gaurentee anything. Like I said I received this from someone I trust who's to say where he got it from. I do know I've seen his cut in flower and it was much more frosty than this. It was a. Very lanky thing until it hit flower. Ill put up a full shot tomorrow.

I hope you guys have some ideas. im really thinking of scrapping them and moving in the next cycle. It would suck to have such a beautiful plant have such low thc.
I was hoping someone may have knew of instances where it went a few weeks longer and gets better in the end. I may stick them outside somewhere and see what they will do.

Ideas?

Those are mega healthy plants. Honestly they don't jump out screaming "I AM CHEM" but they could be?? I don't see the telltale leaves of Chemdog #4 but yours have a bit of leaf curl and so I can't tell for sure. But I don't think that is the 4. What about the smell, you should definitely be able to tell by now it is very unique. The trichomes on the 4 are very tiny so that could be a factor and sometimes that cut goes haywire and turns out weird. Check your pms.

i never grew the 4 but that plant has bigger leaves with more blades then i have seen in pics of most chem strains. what other cuts does the guy have maybe we can figure it out from there. it might have been mislabeled. on the Chemdog D i dont really get much trichs on the leaves. they all pile up on the buds and like was metioned they are small but many. but mostly on the buds unless your greenthumbdanny

I know it looks pretty good, it's the lack of resin with it looking that good that had me worried. As if on cue the resin production has really picked up and it's starting to swell up.

And I'm not a breeder or selling these as something. I like this guys smoke and he is a local legend in redwood and we swapped a couple of clones, but who knows if any of them were the true.


Anyone else out theree run chems?
