Wow! I'm definitely impressed. Can you please break out your nute mix for veg/bloom in a little more detail? I'm using GH-3 PK flora series and that it. I know I need some foliar spray. I think I have everything a need for healthy veg/bloom. But should I use any additional nutes other than GH to enhance yield, taste, ect...?

-Thx bro mucho appreciated, sb'd too:)

For veg, really what little there was (15 days under CFL's) was more of a cloning recovery time. Once I see roots, I would mix up 20ml liquid karma, 10ml pure blend pro grow, and 10ml of voodoo juice and feed the tray with distilled water from there on out. I think I poured a few liters of PBPG at 1/2 strength as well somewhere in there.

The folliar consists of Nitrozime at 5ml and Fossil Fuel at 5ml mixed to a liter of distilled with 36 drops of agri-2 wetting agent. I just need to spray them once a week, this significantly jumps up the plant hormones and helps them bust forth more roots and increases the amount of leaf mass significantly. Since I just flipped flower on them however I cant folliar with the nitrozyme any longer because it will mess up the transitional hormones that I need to build up, thus it would slow down the triggering of flower. This is typical with any kelp based additives, it is generally best to stop using them for the 2 week transition, then you can use them again. Folliar feeding on flowers is not recommended, so typically the folliar stops at flowering all together.

If I wanted to push the limit, I could folliar with just the humics before the lights come on. I don't think its necessary.

I will say, I got suckered into spending tons my last run on Advanced Nutrients and I feel like it did nothing but hurt my grow. They were giving me significant ph problems, and my product quailty dropped. The line up was Sensi AB, Bud Candy, Kushie Kush, Overdrive, Piranha, and Voodoo Juice. The Kushie Kush was the main problem, once I removed that from my res the PH problems stopped.

So with that said, instead of running tons of additives, I will most likely run this schedule:

Week 1- 900ppm
Sensi AB
Fossil Fuel Humics

Week 2- 1100ppm, same nutes

Week 3- 1200ppm, ""

Week 4- 1200ppm, ""

Week 5- 1300ppm, ""

Week 6, 1200ppm
Sensi AB
Overdrive
Fossil Fuel

Week 7, 1000ppm
Pure Blend Pro Soil (1.5-4-5 NPK)
Fossil Fuel

Week 8, 700ppm
Pure Blend Pro Soil

Day 55- Clean Tap Water

I highly suspect that the base nutrients and PH make up your flavor and yield. I might add some Hydroplex weeks 3-5. The epsom is because you can never have enough magnesium. Sulfur is attributed to smell and flavor as well, magnesium sulfate is the primary ingredient in a lot of additives. I would use it sparingly because I don't need the Cal in Cal-Mag, my water is full of calcium.

Week 1 of bloom complete. 1100ppm, 5.8ph. Nothing funky yet, I might change the tank out later tonight.

GDS Pheno #2 turned out to be male. It had hairs in veg when I cloned, but it was ball heavy in bloom. Live and learn, pre-flowers can lie.

:mad0223: :sad0123: down to 23 now. :giggle

I'm a little unimpressed with the stretch on GDS Pheno #1. It seems to want to not spring up as much as the others.

GDS Pheno #3 is the keeper. This one is tall, big fat fan leaves, tremendous stretch, thick stems. Its keeping up with the trainwreck and sour diesel.

Sour is doing well. This should stretch 3 weeks so I anticipate it being the taller plants. I am going to bend them over and try to keep them short as the rest. I like putting my lights about 1ft over the canopy but still having the canopy only hit 2ft tall so all 3ft is lit.

Trainwreck is so uneventful. Very fun to grow, just plop them on the tray and rock. I've always appreciated the heavy buzz of the trainwreck so if this clone proves out to be of the same effects, this is a keeper in my garden.

:phone-2 ring ring ring.. :call  banana phone pictures!

Very nice! GDS #3 is very bushy w/ has really close internodes. Seems to be farther along w/ flowering then the rest of em' too.

Love the pics, updates, and info. I'm learning from your expert example, thanks.

Well, the #3 GDS (Grand Daddy Purp clone x Chemdog Sour Diesel (Rez)) went hermaphrodite on the 2nd week, much like the reports from a lot of growers of Rezā€™s CDSD seeds.

#1 did not stretch. They stopped dead in their tracks and were dwarfed in size by the rest of the garden. #3 ā€“ Hermaphrodites! The only option left was to kill both of them and spread my remaining plants out over the 3x6 table. This formula works well, 13 plants, 3x6. Way more illumination than needed with 2000 watts.

I suspect that it could have been stress, but as a medical grower I cannot focus on trying strains any longer. I need to focus on production. This means, clone onlyā€™s from here out. With the extra space in my mothering room, I should be able to get up to producing more than enough clippings from Sour Diesel and Trainwreck. I also have a Hindu Kush from circa 94ā€™ that is just killer. All of these strains are available to me again from other growers who specialize in clones only, so my mothering has just become non-critical to my operation.

I need at least 800 Grams from this grow, sure hope it hits that. I'm bummed about the loss, but nothing can hold me back now. Sour Diesel and Trainwreck finish at similar times :)

5 weeks. Currently running Pure Blend Pro Soil Bloom, Calmag+, Berry Sweet, Hydroplex and Fossil Fuel.

Pictures 1-3 are trainwreck.
Picture 4 is the middle tray, Sour Diesel on the left, Trainwreck on the right.
Last pictures are all Sour Diesel. The tall one is still stretching on week 5. Highly unusual for me to have to lift the lights clear into week 6.

Trainwreck is ready. Coming down soon tonight. The Sour needs a week or more. I'm going to change out the tank, put in Sensi A+B, Overdrive, Calmag+ and Berry Sweet and run that for the few days left.

Pics 1-6: Trainwreck, rest are Sour D.

224g of Trainwreck minus stems and moisture, and only from 7 plants without veg and in 53 days of bloom. This has my mind running in circles.
