Yes, it looks like heat burn..... is that leaf directly under the bulb?

It was about 7-8 inches away from the glass so like 10inch away from the bulb? I raised the lights hopefully that helps the situation.

I dont like my ph that high in anything soil, ebb and flow, aero, ect so i like it at about 5.6-6.0 i dont think has anything to do with it im pretty sure its from heat to.
Does anyone agree with my ph?

Buy a light diffuser, but a good one- not one of the cheap versions. These help, especially directly under the bulbs where it's hotter and light bleaching is also an issue. I bought mine on Ebay for $39 delivered....... for the 1000 watt version.

Not for soil, that's very low for soil. 6.5-6.8 should be the range, and if you're running organics with bennies then even less attention needs to be paid to pH ranges. The medium truly does dictate the pH, doesn't matter what *you* like, it's about what the plants need, want, like. I would run those pH numbers in hydro, slightly different range for coco (5.8-6.2).

Those plants don't look heat or light burned to me, but I haven't seen the progression. However, if moving or blocking some of that light alleviates the problem, then there it is.
