1st Time indoor grow help plz LED + CFL combo

here's some pictures of my setup... just bought 16 X 40W 2700K CFL's, going to clamp them to; 4 lights to the top steel frame, centered between the corner's, one on each corner as well... and on the vertical steel frame, the corner's of the tent...., going to clamp 1 light on each corner towards the top of tent... maybe a little over 3/4's of the way up... and 1 light on the same frame towards the bottom of the tent, maybe about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom.... and possible some more for the bottom of the tent, just for saturation of light, but idk if that will be like MDK on lights for my babies....? if you notice in the pictures some have yellow... what is that? since i bought the plant food cns17 stuff, and not just city water, they look like they're darkening back up....

I'd say those lights should do fine to flower them. And if you fed them and they're getting better, more than likely that was the problem so don't try any other solutions until the one you've used proves to be wrong or else you could end up causing more. Just pay close attention to the ones with problems, write them down, take measurements everyday (or at least the first couple weeks) so you know wether they've slowed growth which could mean something is up. I am currently running 4 6500 k cfls and one 90w (w/ 6w diodes) to veg 4 ladies in a growlab tent (using the full line of Humboldt Organic nutrients) and theyre doing great. They've got some purple stems cause it barely goes above 60 but theyre gaining girth and height every day. I've smoked buds grown from leds alone and they will succesfully counteract the problem to say the least. To put it in perspective, it was top shelf at my well respected local club. Another ufo wouldnt hurt but, imo, you shouldve went with a 250 watt hps and 2 ufos. Ufos to veg and then add the hps in the last couple weeks of veg and all of flowering. if yellowing persists, id look into wether or not your nitrogen and/or phoporous(spelling?) feeding levels are sufficient. hope this helps

thank you, yes it does help. found 3 males from clones my buddy gave me.....very upsetting.... still in veg but they showed those damned ball's only one ball opened up like banana's, i touched it in the sunlight after pulling out of tent, and a bunchof pollen floated into the wind.... i hope it didnt fuk up my ladies..... :(

get those lights closer to your canopy mate, think i would help tremendously.

lol youll prolly be fine unless it was somewhere close to your intake/tent. also, i think your ladies are to young to be pollinated anyway. unless there are preflowers. could be wrong though

?CFL's just came in, going to post pix of the set-up, only got 11 lights, guess i got the last 11, no longer making my bulbs....

question for CALIGROWER, how much are the 6w diodes? im thinking about buying a board to set up myself with my own fans and yadayadayada, i've heard that beyond 2 or 3w diodes it's producing inefficient light wave lengths or something... idk for sure, and im not sure how to private msg u, hope u read this post again...
