OK, here's another thing, when I do seeds, I just use 5 ml per gal cal mag treated reverse osmosis water ph 5.8 till I see a few sets of leaves, and the plants start looking like they are getting hungry. Then I start to bring up the regular veg nutes at a reduced rate.

The Clonex liquid might be good, but I never have used any such solution in the past with seeds. It is also important to put the seed far enough down in the coco, so it gets a better footing when it starts. Just not too deep. Then it won't make it out.

the new ones i used burpee seed starting mix it has some sort of fertilizer already in it and I did put them in a bit better, I have been using distilled water prolly not optimal but I had to wait 2 days on my tap water. going to start PHing it to 6. so I should gradually add some cal mag to what im feeding my babies now? excited to go peek today will have pics shortly

If it is distilled, then cal mag. Tap that has had time to evaporate the chlorine does not need it unless you start showing signs of deficiency. Either, PH to 5.8

theyll do that, especially 1k's. do u have air conditioning ready? with a 6" id be worried, i run a 10" per 2k and ac but im in socal desert. must be nice to live up top n not air cool lights n run minimal ac like some cats ive met. remember, summer is comming. plan accordingly. temps outside effect temps inside, august in the mojave=120degrees! someone remind me... august in eureka? think it was 85 last year when i was there. some day...

sorry for rambling, good luck with the grow.

check out the growroom design section for some good ideas. id sugguest(if youre not afraid of fixing drywall) cut some holes in the cieling n exhaust the hot air into the crawlspace if u got one/arent downstairs on a multistory... if u do 2, for a sealed room(intake and exhaust) itll make air conditioning more efficient. window units will work(though some people worry about security) or portable ac's. or just bite the bullet n wire the house thermostat in the room n run the ducts in there(again if in a 1story)

renting the house cant really fuck up the walls too much... prolly gonna have to go with a portable which sucks cuz thats gonna put me over $2k

I have two portable air conditioners, 12000 btu and 11000 btu. The dual hose does not need to have a bucket to collect water, the single hose does. Only around 500 for the dual. Both vent outside for the hot air outtake.
Looks like your babies are doing better, I think TCF hit it right with not overwatering, them little stalks can just fold

like others have said, u can, just make sure its far away from them babies to start so it doesnt shock em, id say at least 5' away, and gradually drop it over a week or two. if youre short on cash check craigslist for a portable ac, youll probably find em cheaper, only gotta worry if the last guy was growin n did he have bugs or mold? yup, indoor aint cheap! drywall really isnt that hard to replace, ask a few buddies, most everyone has a friend that does construction.

Most a/c's come with a window kit, meaning its a piece of plastc to fit in an open window and it has a hole or two in it for your duct. Run your 5" line from the a/c to it and connect if you can.

the portable will come with a vent kit yes but I need to get the air thats moving over the lights out of the room and the window is really the only option but i cant find a window kit that a 6' duct will just clamp onto, maybe i could make one out of plastic cut a hole and put a flange on it, or make one out of wood... rather just buy one :) maybe i could find a portable ac unit window kit by itself with a 6" flange but most of them seem smaller...

if youre openly drawing air from the room through the lights n exhausting it out the window youre gonna reek up tthe neighborhood when you get into flower

well its been a month and a few days I just transplanted all the babies into 3gal pots with 60% coco 40% perlite. also obtained a deathstar clone that is looking absolutely awesome and nine lemon g clones that look ok but should nicen up once they are rooted nicely. purchased a 5k btu a/c for a hundred from home depot, I'm going to install it in the room not directly in the tent(yet) and see how things work. need to get a thermostat switch for it. things stay a little cooler when I run at 75% I might just wait for flowering to blast em with the full 2k. overall I lost a shitload of them but with these clones I got I will have a full tent :)
