My hobby grow

This is just a 5 day update cause I got a question.Dealing with some heat right now,this is the latest in the summer months I grew so far.Probably will see a little less trichome production.Starting to noticeably put on some weight and will be taking these early IMO.My question though,is this considered a journal?Want to maybe be a seed tester in the future,and see some require 3 journal grows.

what kind ballast u using?

I am running 2 old school ballasts right now.The one in the pic is the 1500 watt MH,and another next to it is 1000 watt HPS.The HPS plants (far fewer) are a few days behind on flowering but a few days longer veg,havent shown pics of them yet.Good to see ya over here,lol.For 2500 watts I wil only average about 6 OZ's.I really think I need to update/upgrade my strain,but at least most of these are fast flowering.

Its more like I am taking early outdoor strain indoors!This is the strain I have been running outdoors for many years and never lets me down for being harvested dried and in the bag while others are still waiting.And seeds are/were free,I will be pulling this in about 10 days I hope.

yeah im running my free seeds this year too.... i had a real fast finisher outside last year that was bagseed, but no beans from her.

Another thing thats hard for me is not growing indoors during summer due to heat.By the time winter comes around it takes months before I get moms and enough clones to make it all worthwhile,and by then its time to shut down soon cause summers here again.I would love to be able to get and keep some of the Elite strains I see here year round,just havent been feasible for me.Hoping to score something great for this fall though,really got my eye on that Purple Berry or White Fire.They would be my 2 choices!

Hi all,got full garden shots today.

The ones under the HPS are starting to fill out now.A couple of these did get worse fert burn,I didnt flush before transplant for some dumb reason.These haven't received any ferts at all since flower and only Miracle Gro during seedlings/pre flower stage.The Macro is one thats sorta buried and stands at only 9 inches tall.She just went straight to flower I guess cause these were all around 6 inches when put on 12/12.Going to start harvesting in 7 days if they have even anything worth taking.:harvest:

Started harvest yesterday.Getting hot lately so hopefully no problems till the rest are pulled.

Harvested most of the rest today but had clones left over from the outdoor grow.Threw them under the light,heat will be a big issue but WTF!:sad0086:

Last batch is dried and didnt turn out bad at all for taken at 40 days 12/12!

10 days into 12/12,everything looking good!No heat issues yet.My 1500 watt Metal Halide light crapped out on me and havent figured it out yet,luckily I got a couple 1000 watt HPS's laying around.

Just a 10 day update,20 days 12/12 now and no heat issues at all!Seems like i could grow all summer indoors if it wasnt for all my time with my outdoor babies,there the weight makers.:yes

31 day 12/12 update,I do notice heat has diminished the vigor a bit!Looks like I will loose a little weight as well.

for 2500 watts you should be able to put your temp problems behind you for about 150 bucks if you have a window or a wall you can make a hole for an A/C unit. Just how hot is it in your grow room

It probably gets up near 100 some days,and maybe a little hotter near the light.My circuit breakers are pushed to the max now,and im not good at working with electricity at all.This is the latest I ever grew during summer so not worried to much about the loss,sort of knew what I was getting into.Cant wait till this fall,going to pick up some good genetics here to work with and hopefully help improve my weight issues.

WOW 100 is crazy hot imo. Have you considered swapping out some breakers or re-working how much you have running? When I installed my room I had an electrician buddy set me up with a separate loop for about 60 amps on 2 breakers for my little 6x6 room and we bumped up the wiring to a heavier gauge to handle the load. If just seems if your spending the money to run that much light it would make sense to get the most out of it. I would hate to see you lose high quality moms if your temps get a little crazy next summer too.

yeah 100 is pretty damn hot. theyre doin pretty good considering though...
