Hello all!

With the NFL season (potentially) looming, and me finally deciding to join the forums, I figured a good first post would be to see who here is an american football fan, and who might potentially be interested in fantasy leagues and/or if there was already a THCF league of some sort.

I myself am a Saints fan and I am excited to see what Mark Ingram brings to the table in the backfield. Got eyes on Atlanta to make a big splash this year and potentially own the NFC South, though.

So whats up, y'all? Anyone for intelligent football discussion?

howdy and welcome to the farm!

I would be interested in participating in a farmer fantasy football league

dope idea - though it might be really hard to get everybody interested in the same league

Down for some fantasy football.

Sounds like fun to me, go colts. I hope Peyton's neck gets better or it will be a long season for me. Best of luck to all of you

This, though it was sad to see the way they performed most of this season. I'd like to see Hester at WR more often, he is *too* fast up and down the field.

We need a franchise WR, but I'm more concerned w/the OL and DL at this point. Camini should help, Adams need to be re-signed due to the Harris departure. Chris Williams needs to get on track as a guard immediately or he'll be considered a bust...same with the highly touted(at least according to Lovie...lol)Major Wright at safety. Hester is a bigger threat on ST, he has a vision to find holes returning kicks you cannot teach.

If I could choose one player from GB, it wouldn't be Aaron Rodgers but rather the General Manager...dude is a drafting machine.

@vapor,

I've seen several of the 30 for 30 series, but I missed the Ricky Williams junt. Worth watching, eh?

I work with a 40 year-old manchild who is an unbearable dolphins fan, will always shit-talk without having seen games or knowing stats or records, and as soon as you call him out, he will IMMEDIATELY lean his 400-pound ass on the 72-74 'Phins.

I'l be honest; I was mostly a college football kid 'till Reggie Bush was acquired by the Saints. Then I decided to start actively following an NFL team, and since then I've learned that raw athletecism isn't nearly as dominant once you hit the pro's, heh. Honestly I think Bush is a bit of a question mark on our roster right now; I'd rather Meachem or Henderson be running back kicks, and Reggie's huge plays are fewer and farther between these days.

yeah , after drafting ingram , bush might even be more of an after thought or a change of pace , trick play guy

count me in on a fffl ,, alls we need is 10 - 12 teams and fantasy football software for a commissioner , who has time

Raiders fan here.. This might b the year.. We say that every year..
