You could do the right thing and vote for Ron Paul. A guy who really cares about the country.

Make sure you become republican so you can elect Paul for the primaries. Ron Paul is NOT a conventional republican and owns everyone on the issues Americans care about.

Its that simple.

LMAO, yeah like the Republicans are going to be soooo much better in this regard....

I know, lets vote in the even MORE draconian party! Yeah, that will fix things!

Received Truth here. How quickly you forgot the Reagan/Shrubbery WAR ON DRUGS- the incredible waste of taxpayer dollars that funded it.

With any luck at all, this will be the least gasp for Federal Overreach in the drug wars.

Remember Prohibition? Didn't work then, won't work now, will never work in the future unless you give up the free society you believe in. Legislating morality is a dead end- even those who try to push their morality on us don't live up to their own standards much of the time!

LOL Obama. What a puppet. Trying to come down on landlords of dispensaries, banks, and even newspapers that print dispensary ads. The whole reason all the dispensaries exploded was because of him, and now his administration wants to fuck it all up.

I understand that there are people who don't need to smoke MEDICAL MJ that abuse the system. Its the people that do need it though who NEED the access. The people who smoke weed to get high are going to get it the same way they always did, and the people who smoke weed for medical reasons are going to be f worded without a safe place to go and get their meds.

We also should be looking at the economical gain from pot. Jobs have definitely been created from the industry (nutrient and equipment start ups, growers, dispensaries, delivery drivers, trimmers, etc..). Lots of money is being spent on goods and services. TAXES are actually being paid to the state and to the feds. Its a fucking win win.

I didn't really pay attention to ron paul in 2008. this year I just looked him up to see what he was about since he was way up there in the internet polls. That guy is dope. I think he would actually put us back on track as a powerhouse country. I even changed over to republican just to vote for him in the primaries...

Anyway your political party affiliation doesn't really matter anymore. Its all about the candidate. Watch a debate or a few videos on the net of past interviews and you will see that this guy kills it.

I am really surprised Logic hasn't updated the news on the home page with this latest bullshit.

Bottom line, when enough people join the Marijuana movement, those that use it for medical purposes and those who just get stoned, it doesn't matter who the candidate is or what party he is affiliated with he will follow the votes. When the older, closed minded generations die off and the younger more pro MMJ individuals outnumber the rest just watch the politicians change their attitudes. A politician will follow the voters wishes in order to get elected. Make your voice heard and let the elected officials know how you feel and which way you will vote.

Ron Paul 2012

Problem is, can he win?? According to the latest poll Ron Paul has less than 10% of the republican voters backing him. Romney and Cain have 25% each. Does he have the financial backing to get his message out. There needs to be a lot of $$$ thrown his way. If you want to see a mmj friendly candidate money talks and bullshit walks!!

It is a problem. It's a long shot for him to get the republican nomination.

doenst help that the main stream media tries to make ron paul sound like a kook every chance they get

Well Said Motherlode

I agree that Ron Paul would be an excellent president but getting people to take him seriously is another battle. Your fighting the democratic party as well as the republican party and throw in the press

I just heard or read somewhere that for the first time 50% of the American public now approves of marijuana. If that number keeps growing, which I think it will, sooner or later a major candidate will back the movement. They will have to, a politician can't ignore the voting public. Now, if he is a Republican and you are a Democrat will you be willing to cross party lines?? Also, how many of that 50% don't or never have voted?? There is strength in numbers if we all ban together.

all i gotta say is ...

Heil Imperium! politics are a joke period. there is but one system. The ILLUSION of choice.
