anybody mess with RC gas powered trucks in so.cal

Sick I use to have a savage but I sold it. They are the shit. I have a Adam Drake XXXnt now that collects dust. Its fun to whip it around the front yard now and then. Whats wrong with your savage?

electric ftw! i heard them gas ones are for guys who just like tinkering with em with all the tuning and breaking em in, they already break so much, if they break more than the electric ones thats alot! traxxas slash 4x4... easy as fuck, no transponders, throw in a li-po n go!!!

Venom, I Gotta traxxas revo 3.3 but like u I used that bitch like 15 -20 times, fried my brakes and never fixed it. I bought the parts but when I went to fix it I realized that the parts r so small and I like patience so there it sat. Been bout 2 yrs now. I was gonna take it to Pegasus hobby store to hav e them fix it this Yr cuz now my son is old enuff for it. Pegasus is to far for u but I'm sure u can find one in the valley.

LoL...yeah I like tinkering with shit. My lil Nitro is super reliable tho. Just stay away from the pull start type motors. Electric starter for the gas powered motor is the way to go. But with those new batteries they last hella long and are crazy fast.

Yeah this thing is built like a tank I'm sure it just needs tunning never did anything crazy with it , it's been collecting dust for like 2-3 years time to take it to the hobby shop I want to play with this thing goes like 45-50 mph

Im sure all it needs is a new glow plug and some fresh Nitro Methane and she should fire right up.

Glow plug should be good only used it 5 times have a gallon of fuel she will start but the spudder out .i cleaned the air filter to see if that would help but nothing

How old is the gas? that shit goes bad after awhile. You could try turning out that screw on the carb a lil. It might need a lil more or a lil less fuel.

My lil bucket. It's actually a xxx-nt. But I broke almost every part on it and ended up, up grading to all graphite. So now essentialy its an Adam Drake version now. I upgraded the steering & Gas servo's to stronger and quicker ones. Radio is stock cause the XXX-nt is the ready to run version. Anyways yeah I use to kind of be into them

Yeah sounds like you need a new bottle. Those bottles are only good for so long. The mixture goes bad.
