So I ended up listening to the hydro store people when it comes to nutrients and went with the AN line. After reading up on this website about the difference there is when it comes to feeding in the current culture, I need some advice. How can I at least complete a smooth successful grow using the nutes I currently have?

I just don't want to waste money for this run. Suggestions on formulas, amounts to use for each week etc would be GREATLY appreciated. I am a little confused on how exactly to maintain your rezz and what nutes to put in it. My plan is to start over from clones and have the help of some fellow growers!

SUPPLIES

6 lamp t5 (for sensitive clone stage)
Growlite OG 8" Cooled Hood
1k watt hps
Solis Tek 1000 watt ballast
UCXL
100 gallon chiller
Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A/B, B-52/Voodoo juice/BigBud/Sensizyme/Overdrive
Using RO water

Heres a shot of my current setup that I plan to put an end to. I will use the same space but flip the system sideways and add the other two buckets, making it a four plant grow.

Any advice on using advanced nutrients ucxl 2

where do I start with feeding?!

thanks guys

Whats up dub.. I have had many successful runs using AN. As a matter a fact my next few will be AN as well. I need to finish up all the nutes I have left.. I have ran both fitered water and ro. When using ro Cal Mag is a must with each res change. So, this is my mix for AN... I hit my h20 with Cal Mag at 250 ppm, I then add my Sensizym at half labeled dosage, I would hold off on using Sensizym till the second week and your roots start filling out your net pot, I would use B52 (you can run recommended dosage but I run half with babies and increase with size) week 1 and switch off using b52 one week then Senizym the following, switch back and forth. That will make your nutes last longer and still give you killer results. I don't use VJ, shits too expensive, so I will not give advice on using that in the UC. So now you have your ppms wherever they settle, I now add equal of a and b to get to a 300-350 ppm range. Raise water level to the bottom of bet pot, mix up a separate bucket of same nutes except add a and b till ppms are at 500. Top feed your girls with that for 3-5 days, 3-5 times a day until roots fill bottom of net pot. Then raise water level up two notches on the net pot and let them ride like that until your roots are full with a good head going on, usually by the end of the second week, then I lower water level back to the bottom of net pot. With babies that small I would keep ppms at 300-350 for the first 10-14 days, then flush and follow the same except add more a and b to raise ppm 100 higher weekly. Keep top off the same. Additives stay the same, a and b will change according to desired ppms.. I hope this helps some... A4FD

Super clean setup dubsak! Good luck on your Under Current run... Hope you keep up posted on your progress...

A4FD: Thank you thats exactly what I was concerned about. I am actually waiting to buy more clones from the clinic but ill be sure to use this method soon enough.

Shady: Thanks bro ill definitely be posting progress

sick use of an. im about to use the ph perfect in my uc. i also am a big fan of voodoo in the uc if you can afford it. bud ignitor big bud and overdrive are crucial imnsho. i also dont think full strength is recomended. does your chiller throw out as much heat as mine does? Do you think this could be a problem in the tent?
peace,
ham

I forgot to mention.. You will keep your Cal Mag ppms at 200-250 through veg. At flower sit at 200 till week 3, then drop to 100-150 and stop after week 3., some strains I stop start of week 3.. Just read those girls.. peace..

Thanks for all the comments guys.

A4FD I ended up running dynabloom to start off until the roots are grown out. Im pretty much following the veg part of DS's post.

I am going to add cal mag and then follow the schedule you showed me after rez change. Got 4 white fire clones today that I actually had to transfer from coco. The bigger plant is just another white fire clone that i never threw away.

I am considering getting that chiller out because temps are getting high.. Ill look into it.

Right now they are getting t5 six lamp. When should I kick them with 1k MH?

let them get some roots going and then start the 1000 up high and lower it little by little until you hit 18" rvd

Well, IMHO, you're just missing B-52 and you'd have the Hobbyist Growing Bundle. And that's pretty darn awesome.

So, I would check out the growing schedule on the AN site, or you can call up the AN customer service line. Their customer service team is amazing.

Actually he's got B-52.

As far as how to proceed with the feeding I'd just use the chart. No reason to reinvent the wheel.

Here's a link if you don't have it already:

Don't miss the part at the lower left of the first page that covers seedlings and such.
