Cannabis potentiates opiates really well, nothing like a combo of the two. Match made in heaven. If only there was a way to distill THC into injectable form you could make a hell of a speedball. Haze and morphine, straight to the brain via mainline sounds like fun.

I find that the MMJ makes it so I take morphine less often and the less morphine the better...

what works best for lower back pain from a siatic nerve injury.... it would be better if can be consumed

Unless you make your own edibles it's a pig in a poke, you never know what's inside...

A lot of people swear by high CBD strains but I found that a combination of high CBD and high THC works best for my back pain. I never found much relief with just CBDs...

so some cannatonic x chocolates.....ya i think ill make that happen for my wife she used to be on 5 scripts now were down to two in alternation to keep lower tolerance but idk how long your liver and kidneys can hang in there cuz she was 7 scripts for three years.... its a challenge worth fighting for you know

Sorry caveman but it's impossible to say how long the human body can take that kind of medication. Some people take dozens of meds for decades with seemingly no problems and others have liver or kidney failure while not on any medications. Her doctors can do tests to determine if her liver and kidneys are functioning properly now though. Anything that can reduce her need for multiple meds sounds like a good idea to me but I'm not a doctor...

In my case I suffer chronic sciatic nerve pain which has been manageable with Indica dominant strains, my favorite being Blue Dream, that I keep on perpetual cycles using a vaporizer 4-6 times a day. If you have pain management issues I'd definitely recommend it.

Thanks for the input...

I have a cheap EasyVape vaporizer but I'm not impressed with it, maybe it's a bad brand/model or it could be that I don't use it right (or at the correct temps) but I don't use mine much. I'd like to cut down on inhaling burnt plant matter so I'd probably have to switch to edibles. Unfortunately, that requires more product and cooking skills that I'm lacking. ;)


Perhaps I should get back on topic:
I'm surprised there aren't more SoCal vets looking for this kind of club, the local VA is always packed but I suppose most of them don't visit here. Maybe I should be performing outreach in other places, as many vets here are probably already growing their own meds. ;)

Any vets that are still interested in starting/joining a private club feel free to PM me...

Get the Silver Surfer vaporizer. You can hook it up to a glass piece. Volcanos are fun but the surfer is a tool.

For pain relief I recommend high thc budder. then smoke some cbd to keep it in the system.

army 92 yankee air assault...this is very intriguing to me...I'm not yet in a legal state but i will be moving to cali within the next 2 months. I would like to get involved with this idea when i do...i dont come hear too often, but i've been hoping something like this would pop up. Please continue to bump this thread cuz us vets need it to come to fruition! Subscribed!

USMC 89-93 1141 with a few additional MOS's that I picked up along the way.

It's a shame that they can't look past their blind ignorance. Perhaps one day the US will get on board with things and realize the MJ is not the EVIL thing they think it is.

All potential club members must be SoCal vets with a valid California rec. I want to keep this local because I plan for it to be more than just a co-op, this club will be about the brotherhood (and sisterhood) of service members. The meds are just one benefit. ;)

After we launch with the "1st squad" we may open chapters in other places too. As I said though, nothing is set in stone so the idea could evolve.

I put this up on the Harborside thread but it probably should have gone here. I believe there is no question that the Fed has long realized MJ is not the evil thing they claim it is. MJ represents an arena that they can not completely control the transactional value like they can scripts. When this administration initially claimed a tolerance to patient needs in MMJ legal states then the oppressive clamp down began to actually ramp up pushing meds underground and than come to find that the very government which criminalizes this plant has a patent on it for it's medicinal value. Is anyone else here wrestling with beyond pissed here?

Maybe one of the esteemed members of this forum might have an answer for this. It has me thoroughly flummoxed.

How does the DOJ/DEA continue to justify cannabis being classified as a schedule one drug when the US Dept of Health and Human Services has a patent on cannibinoids under US patent no 6630507 which maintains that cannabis has medicinal value as an anti-oxidant and a neuroprotectant treatment?

Am I missing something here?

I'm quite aware of the history of prohibition of MJ and the whys and hows aren't that complicated, in my mind at least. Even the solutions seem pretty obvious but there is a lack of will or disipline needed to achieve that goal at this point in time and I'm not sure that will change as quickly as many of us would like.

That's not to say that MJ will be a schedule 1 drug forever, just that it's going to take longer than necessary to decriminalize on a Federal level. I wrote about this very thing in the old Overgrow forums (and others) over a decade ago and not much has changed since.

While it's a worthy debate, I'd prefer to keep *this* thread about recruiting vets for my club. If you don't mind. :P

I posted this patent because I was not made aware of it until recently and it occurred to me that after reading the patent language that the current position whereby cannabis has 'little to no medicinal value' is completely contrary to what the fed has patented for exactly that in cannabis's recognized value as a neuroprotectant treatment for conditions such as PTSD.

No worries. I respect your opinion, your hindsight and what it is you are trying to accomplish here. I pray you're successful in assisting those vets in need!

It is possible to inject THC.

This is achieved by creating a phosphate ester of THC. The polar phosphate solubilizes the molecule in water.

phophate ester you say?? I'M ON IT! haha. Wish I had a laboratory at home and whatever precursors are needed, do you know if they are ones that are controlled or not? Can't believe nobody in humboldt was cranking out injectable THC that I ever heard of, you'd think someone would have been all over that! Seriously. . . IV neville's haze + morphine sounds like heaven on earth!

While at the VA today, I may have found another jarhead (disabled Iraq vet) that may want to join the club. I couldn't give him all of the details while I was there but I have his contact info and once we have something more concrete I can check his interest then. It looks like performing outreach in other places might help. :D
