I just use 1/2g/gal of epsom salts in flush, nothing else.

Salt? I used to use 'Sweet' throughout my waterings in bloom and then went to sweet only to flush. Towards the end game I ended up with yellowing, dying leaves.

I blamed this on too much salt left in the dirt so I switched to using 'Catalyst' and this issue went away.

Hygrozyme is a cleaning agent with enzymatic action. I wouldn't use it the way you suggest.

Epsom salts is a hydrate crystal containing sulfur and magnesium- it's a NUTRIENT! I run it at flush to offer sulphur which is supposedly good for flavor, and to give some ec to the water. I am continuing to add a bit of sugar to my flush too, because that's what encourages the plants to use up their stored nutrients.

Thnak you for your input.

I will drop the Hygrozyme during flush. I also use Hygrozyme when I transplant. Thus my plants would receive tree shots of it during their life cycle during the veg stage.

I assume you purchase Epsom Salt at WalMart, RiteAid, Walgreens, et al.? How much do you use per gallon of water?
