Big chap ,I’m no expert ,I’m 1st time too ,the fan leaves are imports,but not that important that you can’t defoliate them ..I was terrified,done one plant ,thought I’d gave it a coont of a hair cut ,was terrified I’d fookd it up ,but aslong as you’re still in the grow and flower stage your plant will grow knew ones,YouTube it buddy ..trust me ..I was there myself less than three weeks ago ..and now I wish I’d done it earlier ,cut the big ones away ,let the lights get at your buds..a little at a time ,coz you can take them off but can’t put them back in..and give it a week ,even 5 days and you’ll wish you’ll have done it before..yes it’s I’m not afraid to say ,it scares the life out of you ,especially when you want your 1st grow to be dinky do..that’s Scottish for brand nee,but teh trim it bck a touch and you’ll see ..take the big ones 1st ,start from the bottom and common sense will see you noticing the ones on top that are shading below ,you’ll get the hang of it,check my thread ,you’ll see what I mean..remember mate ,a short back and sides and not too much off the top.lols..I feel like a hairdresser..playing mate..but you’ll get there,if I can ,anyone can ..ps if you check my pics ,the biggest one on the left ,is the one I thought I’d butchered,now it’s my baby ..over n out
