I havent changed. I went and bought new hortilux 600 hps’ bulbs for flower room and ge 6500k t-5 ho tubes for the veg tent. I will see about new lights next year at this point. I really still like the timber cob lamps but may benefit from good bar lamps so i still dont know. I might get the itch...

they are go pro #3 black premium nursery pots (actual 2.4 gal.) and the premium 12” green trays. They are almost 7 years in rotation. All still in great shape. i have some of the tall 5 gallon pots too but they just take more water and nutes for little gain in my timing and sustem.

I read to scratch up the surface of the soil when i started and have always done it since. Helps keep the soil from becoming hydrophobic. and i mixed perlite to about 50/50 in those pots. Its too much. Especially with the small perlite. I am glad to go back to ocean forest like the veg i showed...

the foliage pro is growing more compact dense plants than pure blend pro did. More nitrate less ammonium i think is why.

@707finisher here is the other gsc plant flowering. She stays stressed too but is in the out of date promix and it is holding nutes a bit much. Not draining right anymore even with the extra perlite.

now i know why you are saying this. You make seeds from a plant or two. I only grow seeds that a breeder picked from hundreds of plants over years of work. I have grown hundreds and hundreds of plants now and have seen very few nanners. And all were from grower error or bug/ treatment stress...

yeah but the plants like sour diesel that are easy to reverse are the best plants. My whole goal in this is was to be able to grow any seed to good potential. And hermaphrodite is not the same as a stress reversal. A real hermaphrodite grows male and female flowers all over and is the genetics...

And @sshz i spray isopropyl alcohol and wipe down every pot before storing. And every stand, tool and anything else that comes in or goes out of my rooms. i even wipe down bags of soil and supplies from the grow store. but i still got the root aphids.

neat. I never thought of a grow room bug zapper. Makes so much sense.

for the price i would still choose those to replace my hps lamps.

all cannabis has the genetic trait to reverse. You are just making an assumption. And i dont know the science to reply properly. But its not as you are saying genetically.

is that the only bug prevention you do? I am considering a root drench for preventative after the root aphid fiasco.

Dont know what you are trying to prove. Good breeders take the time to pick good plants. Greedy and incompetent breeders take shortcuts. There are plenty of reputable strains out there to try new ones forever without seeing bad genetics you keep speaking of. And if you are growing chem, diesel...

i did find it odd that the extra p plants didnt show such reduction.
