What is the best cover crop?

You should look into Mason, Leafcutter or Alfalfa bees, they do the work of 10 honeybees (they splash into the pollen like grenades and spread it all over instead of collecting on legs). You can just buy them and release them and they will pollinate and do their thing for 6 or 8 weeks then make...

Is horse crap good for weed?

I read the OP better and looked at the picture. I would take as much of that as I could carry, haul or get hauled. I have paid for truckloads a few time to fertility bomb new tree guilds. I really need a chicken house/compost and then ill be able to stop my outside input of animal manure. Its...

Is horse crap good for weed?

I would take it and just leave it in a pile for a year to slow compost (or hot compost it). Composting will mean less weed seeds and any drugs in the manure can get past their half life. Also it'll cook into one of the most fertile thingd on earth. But I would definatly top dress with it and...

    PH A Basic explanation

Its about 20ppm coming out of RO (That 20ppm is from the alkaline stage (The 5th-9th stages are our Alkaline Filter adding 5 stages of mineralization, antioxidants, and oxygen to your water. ) 800ppm when tested after running through entire system and oddly enough its 800ppm when tested directly...

    Over nutrient seedlings or what?

Well my first plant was 12" tall (Blueberry) and gave me 2oz of dried crop. It had like 6 HUGE buds. It was low quality and potency. My second run I ended with 3 critical mass and they cave me 8oz dried. Again low quality, but pretty potent, so I made 2 liters of THC oil. I was paying $90 for...

    PH A Basic explanation

I have had a lot of PH lockout since I started in September. I have a list of about 10 DIFFERENT things I've done to abuse the plants, so its not even worth going there (soil, light, air, water? where do you want to start?). I grew some pretty crappy weed, but now I know what these plants can...

    Over nutrient seedlings or what?

I started in September and have had plants going since then. I was (and still am) REALLY hard on these plants. I've overfed, underwatered, gave to much light, messed up the temp and humidity weekly and even managed to accidently leave lights on or doors open during the dark period. That...

Thanks, I appreciate your guidance. Im taking your suggestions and going for it. Nice. /taps excel guru wife on the shoulder. Thinking maybe Im going to add the mycos (should be growing that stuff by the gram!) when its done cooking a bit (a week or 2 before planting), but do the cool kids...

    Post your Organic Soil Mix

Good point. I must admit, I bought the smaller packages to try first and for the containers as I find them more manageable and less dusty than the 10kg paper bags (which I bought for 444 and bloom). I didn't follow the Gaia Green reqs, im roughly following the REVs living soil recipe and tried...

    Post your Organic Soil Mix

So, can anyone see a problem with this soil recipe? I was thinking about taking out the blood meal and bat guano, keep that stuff outdoors. Not sure of alternatives. Also not really sure how "bad" blood meal and bat guano are indoors, will have to do some more research. I will mix and cook for...

Nutrient problem, a chronic problem, apperently.

NP, I would have had to type it all out anyways. 🤟 I watered it with 5.9 ph water a few hours ago, and then ran another flush of water through it. The runoff showed between 3000 and 4000 ppm. So, I supposed all I can do now is wait it out and leave it alone.

Nutrient problem, a chronic problem, apperently.

Ok, I did that with distilled water and its coming in at 7.4 and 7.5 on 2 different ph meters. Maybe its time to invest in a Bluelab soil PH tester, since I'm staying with living soil. Thanks, this makes a lot more sense. Not a chronic nute problem, a chronic ph problem (and grower...

Nutrient problem, a chronic problem, apperently.

Hey all, I started growing cannabis in Sept and love it. I am using soil and Gaia Green organic dry amendment nutes. I had this same problem with my last (first) run of Critical mass (CM). The leaves at the top start to show interveinal yellowing. The CM did the same thing starting around...

I need some wisdom to help cool my grow room!

I think ill just put a 4" fan with filter, filtering air from garage into my basement lung room. I can adjust my garage temp accordingly. I knew I was missing something obvious. ✌

I need some wisdom to help cool my grow room!

Oh man, I'm liking this. The 4" AC infinity belongs in another tent, but with a thermostat controlled outlet, I can go directly into my garage right through the wall (which I can keep at any temp) and gets fresh air anyone enters or leaves the house. Plus its cold air (60f, not -20f which would...

I need some wisdom to help cool my grow room!

The deets… This is a 6x10x7ft tall insulated (used to be cold storage room) room. it’s in my basement and I can keep basement temps any temp I want (I keep it at 68 to 71f for the propagation area). I have a 6" ac infinity exhaust (short 2 ft run), and have a 4" ac infinity being used as an...
