    Chinese LED grow light

These plants (4 different strains) were all supposed to be done flowering in 75 days or less. My plants flowered for considerably longer than that. So much so that I got tired of watching new clusters of white pistols. However, I used 3 quantum boards and also a lighted shelf that was close to...

We are likely to run into that this trip. We didn't build these two so there's no telling what we run into. Another team across the shop isle did. They had problems passing their factory acceptance test. It's up to a 3 man team of mechanics and 1 electrician to figure out their mess. The...

Lets see, I was in both Chicago and Dallas back to back in June. I've been to Chicago 2x's in July. I will be flying out to Dallas on Monday Aug 3rd and again on Aug. 17th. The Chicago trips were for upgrading machine guarding. The Dallas trips are because we shipped new machines. These...

I need to get a new battery before I claim that as accurate ... but the scale says 160g.

Yes, you are correct. I just tared an empty jar. Weight one that is not quite full. If my scale is accurate, the contents weigh about 160g. That's almost 6 ounces in the jar 160g/28 = 5.714 I'm not sure I trust my scale. It's battery is several years old. However, there is most certainly more...

    Chinese LED grow light

I think you are confusing a quart jar for a 1/2 gallon jar. I used to buy caregiver ounces in PINT jars from the local dispensary. So no, I don't think my claim is outlandish. Now I have to figure out a way to weight the contents of a jar. I'm not sure my scale will handle a jar that large. We...

    Chinese LED grow light

Regardless, it's more than I can see myself smoking considering I am running at about 1/4 oz a week consumption. I've also frequently gotten close to 2 oz into a quart jar. Mine are 1/2 gallon (2 quarts). Hard to say for sure because I don't remember exactly when I took that picture. That was...

11 1/2 gallon jars. I have not weight it but I'm guessing that each jar is a 1/4 lb. It's still wayyyy beyond my needs and I have already started giving away excess to my kids. P.S. I didn't include the wattage from the lighted shelf I built so it's closer to 1000w from the wall in total wattage.

I wouldn't be purchasing over-seas at the moment. I bought all of mine before shipping got out of hand ... and all my lights arrived in a week or less. I also paid approximately $50 per board for shipping. (3 orders, 2 boards per order) I'm seeing that some people are paying 3 times what I did...

    Chinese LED grow light

I've got a couple of comments about "Chinese" lights. 1) I realize there are many Chinese lights are not good, but not all bad either. I have six of the 240w quantum board panels from Kingbrite. I've been very satisfied with my purchases. I've been told many times that my lights are sub-par on...

Along that line, I use a 5000k led shop light. It's worked great with both cannabis and vegetable garden plants started from seed.

    Please assist me? Ugh

The chart shows the ideal range for the actual pH of the soil, with a pH of 6.5 being the sweet spot. There's no need to pH your water if it falls within the normal range of 6.5-8.0. The soil will buffer the solution just fine. Adjusting pH of nutrients is really only necessary for hydroponics...

Lets see your 2020 Outdoor Plants!

I did say that... What changed my mind was a big electric bill so I moved everything outside. AC + all my lights got a bit expensive. My original plan was 2 outside plants and the rest indoors.

I like your idea, but I'm probably not the one to give you the best answer. If you're (or will be) running up to 4 240w quantum boards in a 4' x 5' tent, you're already at 48w per ft sq. The extra reds are enticing but I'm going to pass the buck to someone who has a better understanding on how...

I've got 3 in a 5 x 5 and it's more than plenty for the plants I have in there right now. I can see you dimming down 4 in a 4 x 5 too, although the coverage would be outstanding.

Only "extra" fee I received was the credit card transaction charge when I processed my payment through Alibaba. No customs fee or anything other "hidden" fee. Like SkunkyDunk said, enjoy your new brightness .... at a budget.

Dose anyone grow fruit n veg in your back yards .

This is my first planting season in my new house. We bought it last June so things are still a work in progress. So far, 100 onion sets, a rhubarb, and 50 strawberry plants have been planted. I have 2 varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, green beans, broccoli...

    moving plants outdoors in Michigan

There will be a few more nights that you have to cover them. As I look at the weather forecast, frost potentially tonight, tomorrow night, Monday night, and Tuesday night in my area. After that, it looks like frost-free until fall. I'll be planting my outdoor plants when I plant my tomatoes and...
