A vivosun 6” and is rated for 440CFM but I’m sure that’s just what it’s advertised at so hoping it something over 400. I just looked at the 4” and it’s rated at 195CFM. Hopefully it’s the air exchange.

Thank you for the advice! I’m hoping this 6” inline fan will exchange the air fast enough to keep the temps down! Obviously without the controller tho. I’ve seen some cheaper Environmental controllers on amazon like ink bird. Is that any good? But I’m hoping this 6” inline fan does the trick.

Also just put one of my fans directly towards the bulb and so far it went from bouncing between 380-420 to 290-330.. hoping this helps a little because I’m only a few degrees off.

True good point. My ballast is directly connected to the light. I don’t think I can detach and get outside the grow room. Honestly I’m to the point where if this 6” exhaust fan doesn’t work then im just have to find a way to switch to LED

So the ballast is actually staying cool. It’s the light itself that I’m getting something around 400°f. Put a fan directed on it gunna see what happens. And I got a 6”inline fan on the way.

If I put intake ducting in so it pull air from a colder spot would that help? My exhaust is running out of the house.

The tent will be in two differant areas of the house(just where I’m able to set them up) and the ambient temp in the house is 75. I have a 6in in-line fan on the way now. I was wondering if running ducting (for the intake) closer to win air vent(where the a/c is pumping air out).

yes I plan on getting an t6 eventually its just not in the budget right now. so I'm looking at just a basic 6" I'm thinking that the 4" just isn't enough for this tent and heat. I'm really hoping it fixes my issue haha.

no cooling option. new 6" inline something like $60 and an led would be about $300 so gunna go with the cheaper option first. is this 315w smh even worth the heat issues or would I be better off with an led and an cooler environment?
