They are 5 gallon, and about three weeks now, for the ones in the 3x3 with the leaf issue. Edit- maybe larger. I was using 5 gallon. These are about 15” across and a little over a foot tall. The others are waiting for definitive sex before repotting.

Update- a friend told me it looks like a calmag issue. I agree but I feed calmag every watering with nutes. Im going to do more research on it. As far as I can tell it doesnt effect anything.

In that case, id say go for it. There are some drawbacks- largest being heat. I find it is a surprisingly hot running light fixture but its worked great for me for the past couple of years. No burn outs, very bright and produces extremely well for a low end led.

You can, but from personal experience, I take those guides lightly. In a 3x3, I would recommend a light suited for 4x4, but it depends on light type, wattage and most importantly, PAR readings.
