    Road Kill Skunk

I have three "rare" skunk strains, and yes they are real skunk, not the poser bullshit some say they have, you also can still find that "rare" pheno in any actual strain of Afghani, or original "midwest".

Should I harvest this Jack Herer ?

Harvest, you do not want to lose out on it becoming over ripe. It isn't just because the pistils are red, it is because they curl inward, it will sit for maybe a few days before it would start to lose mass and the trichomes would start to turn amber, amber trichs are a sign your plant is...

the best talent any grower can have, is the talent to grow in all conditions. I would rather have an ounce of mind blowing one hitter than a QP of mediocre. Pretty is pretty, how does it smoke?

    Genetics vs talent

Hybrids show the most pheno types, gives them versatility, if indica/sativa variety hybrids are grown in warmer climes it will exhibit sativa mostly, and in cooler climes you would find indica expression, while growing pure indica or sativa, you will have to refer to region grown.

    Genetics vs talent

Consider if you use poor genetics, no matter how well you do in gardening, you never have a plant worth saving. The way I see it, most "growers" have no idea what they are doing and fall victim to popular idea instead of practical application( I was one of them). I know I will feel the hate when...

    Genetics vs talent

That is a topic that can be debated for the reason of knowledge and understanding, practice in how you care for plants(soil, soiless, hydro, nutrients, ect...), general environment( lighting, temperature fluctuations, humidity.). Skill is subjective, everyone has a technique, which is the most...

Leaves yellowing at 5 and half weeks i to flower help

To be honest it is not flushing as much as just giving plain water. The way your plant looks ,(which is awesome BTW), you do not have long. If you apply nutrients now it would be a costly waste, other point, I have plants that show yellow sometimes at six weeks, and mine are nine to ten weeks in...

Leaves yellowing at 5 and half weeks i to flower help

you should be flushing now, if your plant has a flower period of 7 to 8 weeks, and it is 6 1/2 weeks, I would not be giving nutes, only water, believe it or not tap water is fine.

Leaves yellowing at 5 and half weeks i to flower help

Ph meters will never give an accurate reading with a "slurry" test, your run off is ALWAYS higher when you add water or water with nutes, the whole reason for that is that this is the run off, meaning that anything in excess such as salts, residual nutrients, and even less oxygenated water,(...

Leaves yellowing at 5 and half weeks i to flower help

I am growing lemon haze and jack herer, both are originals, estimated times vary for these plants, and is dependent on the growers and what strains AND phenos they use, point being that my girls will be done in 65 days and some may go longer, yet, estimated times is nine to ten weeks. Time...

Leaves yellowing at 5 and half weeks i to flower help

Well, you could also check your growers expected times, you may also be off on your weeks, most importantly, you dealing with an indica hybrid, dutch passion estimates flower length as 7 to 8 weeks. Getting yellow in your leaves is not always a bad thing, sometimes the plant is done and it is a...

Why do gardeners buy REGULAR seeds vs FEMINIZED seeds?

Then there are IBL's= Inbred line, which is a re affirmation of the genetics, inbreeding in plants in order to isolate a certain trait or traits. http://knowgenetics.org/mendelian-genetics/ this may help to understand, it is lengthy, still breeding your own seeds can save thousands of dollars.
