Hey all, going to use this thread to document my second attempt at growing w/ coco. My goal with this grow is high-tech automation.
My plans:
1x 4x8 Veg Tent
1x 5x12 Flower Tent
2x 50 gallon reservoirs
Reservoirs will automatically fill with RO water and calculate and dose nutrients...
I've got a 4x8 tent. I've recently added two GeekBeast Pro lights.
I'm running the lights at 70% power and my tent is at 92*F. I have a 6 inch exhaust fan running at full speed venting directly out the window of the room the tent is in. The ambient temp of the room is about 80-82*F.
The tent...
I have two grow tents, one 4x8 and one 4x4 with a window in between them. The 4x8 has a 6 inch exhaust fan and the 4x4 has a 4 inch exhaust fan.
I bought a vent kit for the window but it only has a 4 inch port.
Would it be okay to connect both fan ducts to a Y at the exhaust vent? And is it...
First time grower, getting ready to flip to flower. I've read some continue veg nutes for a week after flipping since the plant will stretch and there won't quite be flowers yet.
Is this a good idea? Or should I just go straight to flower nutes after flipping the lights?
Noticing yellowing leaf tips on all of my plants today. I'm on week 4 of veg. I'm running Coco/Perlite.
Feeding daily with CalMag and Sensi Bloom Coco at 50% the recommended amount. PH on my water is around 6.1.
This is my first grow so I can't tell if I'm over or underfeeding here.
I've got a 20 gallon reservoir with a pump gravity fed through the bottom of it. For the past week I've been testing it with 5-10 gallons of water. Today for the first time I filled it up with 20 gallons.
After the first test feed, water wouldn't stop flowing out of my irrigation unless I put...
I have a 20 gallon reservoir I use to feed my 6 coco plants 1-2 times a day. At this rate I can last 7-10 days on a full reservoir.
I have a mixing pump that I run throughout the day to keep the water moving, and doesn't get too much light. Still - I notice after a day or two the...
I use an RO filter for all water that my plants drink. I also keep a saltwater aquarium which only uses water from an RODI filter. Between these two projects, I'm using up a lot of water. The part that is hard for me to swallow is the amount of waste water going down the drain.
Is there any way...
