    Whats wrong with my plants?

Good call. Cold can manifest as hungry. Great thing to rule out. Cheers on the open mind eh'

    Whats wrong with my plants?

It looks to be yellowing from the top down which could even be nitrogen. I've seen pulling nitrogen too early in stretch, AKA bud set, cause issues on heavy eaters. What is your ppm or ec? Especially first water out the bottom? This also looks like early magnesium deficiency. Especially if you...

My plants have growths on the stems and leaves, any one have any idea what's going on?

Agreed... Can't hurt to clean. Bleach with triple strength 2 to 3 applications. Let it dry completely between applications. You can do it in a day. Bleach is a fungicide used aggressively. Cheers

WORST LUCK EVER!!! (Broad mites) help!!

I have eradicated broadmites from 8 grows indoor and controlled them outdoor enough to get to harvest on two farms. We did it with nukem. The trick was to dip the indoor plants completely into the nukem. We sealed the tops of the pots with a cap and flipped them over and dunked them into a...

My plants have growths on the stems and leaves, any one have any idea what's going on?

Is anyone considering a virus here? Not saying that's it but it doesn't look like bugs, larvae, or fungus I've seen. If you can get the plant regenerated via tissue culture it would be interesting to see if it went away or it might be in the genetics and carry though. I mean tissue culture...

Bonsai SCROG Training and Micro Managing

You mentioned a few times the goal is a perfectly flat top. I have something you might consider. We agree that having a greater surface area exposed to light will yield more flower. So, what has more surface area, an even flat surface or one with variable heights? My testing back when I was...

HOW TO WATER COCO FOR BEST RESULTS.

if your ppms increase between waterings The simple solution is to keep the input ppms the same but increase the frequency of the watering until it comes out closer to what you're putting in. Ppms will increase as the pot dries regardless of what the plant uses. The plant will take up...

    DWC Plants Dying Please Help

I have had clones in Rockwool that got left on a counter for 1 to 2 weeks and the plant still didn't look bad. They do look a little overwatered but I don't do DWC so I was hesitant to say anything but along with the res temperature I think it makes sense

    DWC Plants Dying Please Help

IMO your ppm/ec may be too low. Try top-feeding with 500-600 ppm and see if they start to open up and stems start greening. I've seen heat and low humidity shut them down like this too but you have that dialed in. I would be interested to hear what happens if you try the top-feeding to "wake...

    DWC Plants Dying Please Help

Regarding your point that the clones weren't rooted as well as you'd like... We had some lids that were slightly tinted and as they got more and more tinted we got worse and worse results. We replaced the lids and were right back to where we used to be. Once those lids get dirty it's just best...

    DWC Plants Dying Please Help

I like using the garden fencing that's painted green and has 2x3-in squares. You can lay out four branches north south east and west, top them at three and then three again and it will fill out perfectly. It's also much more sturdy than netting so when you're bending a branch it holds itself...

Plants Start Drooping Toward Night Time

I wonder if you did your last watering 1 clock-hour later than you currently do if this would stop? For example: If you now water at 2pm try moving it to 3 or 3:30. It might mean that the max DPI or Saturation Point of the plant is dependent on root zone moisture levels. You might even see the...

Plants Start Drooping Toward Night Time

By running 15/9 a couple days before flip decreases the time to start bud set and the plants don't seem to slow down.

    DWC Plants Dying Please Help

This turned into a long post with 3 parts... the Z7 I mentioned in a previous post but wanted to add some info I have found helpful. I summarized so you can decide to read through up front Z7 to keep roots clean and active pH adjustment best practices How to build a buffer in your res to avoid...

    DWC Plants Dying Please Help

I recommend trying Flying Skull's product Z7. It is very inexpensive to use and I have seen it fix this type of problem. It is a combination of an enzyme to "activate" the surface of the root and a bacteria that keeps the roots clear of detritus etc. You can call American Agriculture in...

    1st time grower, seed problems?

Well now sounds like a good time to do a test if you're interested. We probably test a few plants with different techniques on every run. There's way more to learn than we know now.

    1st time grower, seed problems?

Are you trying to grow the large cola because of yield or because you like growing a big fat bud? In my opinion both are great. If you're going for yield more branches that are receiving light will give you better yields than grow on a giant center cola. If you just want to grow a big Billy...
