Usually the genetic trait is passed down through the seeds so there is a possibility of a hermie.
However. I've seen some pretty good offspring from hermies. If you have no other option. By all means. But make sure there are separated from your good crop and monitor them a few times daily in...
So I got a hermie. But 8 females out of 11 plants is pretty good in my book.
Raised the light a little as two plants are around 7 ft tall now.
One plant looks like I'm feeding too much so I've been giving her straight water hoping this will help. I flush her woth a few gallons and then...
and as you can see from the pics I set up my grow room.
1 1000 watt hps
12000 btu ac
All plants in 3 gallon fabric pots.
1 in a 5 gallon.
Purchased 10 3 gallon and had 11 plants initially.
I am hoping to upgrade to two lights after these are finished.
Locating new seeds for the next grow.
Update.
Ended up with 9 out of 11 females
2 males were chopped
One looks like I overfeeding so I used tea and will water after ot dries out.
I make sure the pot is totally dry before feeding. Every two days.
They stretched a bit.
One over 6 ft tall with pot
Pic was taken at night so they dropped. In sunlight they are upright.
Thanks for the advise Jaykush. These are regar seeds. But because of 12 hours sunlight year round. They flower once mature.
It's in 50/50 Coco/Perlite.
I have the fabric pots to transplant into but weekend I will. As I am...
Making progress. Still small but cant ask for much with just 12 hrs sunlight
Also have some younglings coming up
They all smell really nice. We will see as they progress
My beautiful German Shepherd decided to take the fabric pot to see the yard.
But left the plant and all the coco and perlite on the floor.
This was between 12am and 5am.
I repotted and hoping it doesnt affect the plant
Because of the 12-13 hours sun the plants dint get to big.
Hence my plan to do the room.
It's a 10X10 room but just one light for now. Once ceiling goes in and I setup the room properly. If it flowers outside il leave it there.
I got coco and perlite to transplant when ready.
I've read its better to progress in size slowly. To allow for the roots to reach the water a little easier and to avoid soaking the medium with fertilizers.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
I may have to go straight to the 3 gallon as well.
I actually got some 3 gallon plastic grow bags just in case...
I also ordered 5 gallon bags but I'm not sure if I will use them yet. I will see in time. If the one gallons dont come in they will be going straight to the 3 gallon.
If you dont mind me asking. Do you continuously up pot until the 3 gallon. If yes what sizes you normally go through?
Update. Did LST. Bent and then used a clothes clip to hold it down. One more week the I will be transferring to either a 1 gallon or 3 gallon fabric pot. Order the one gallon but not sure if it will reach on time.
3 gallons in hand.
Outdoors for now. Unfortunately she gets 13 hrs of sun. I...
Wow. Good entertainment for the quarantine.
So no disrespect but how are you sure on gender?
Everyone starts somewhere and there is always something to learn. Remember that
I dont think topping early is bad but it may limit the capabilities of your plant vs topping at the recommended node...
12 days. One leaf looks a little droopy. But growing well in my opinion.
Bright sunlight for twelve hours and indoors under a led lightbulb when the sun goes down.
Just until my 1000w Mh and Hps comes in.
I plan to purchase Fems this coming week or weekend.
Any suggestions what site I can get...
After months of not smoking I decided to. Got a few bag seeds. Out of 8, 1 popped. I bought solo cups a little too late so i set it in half of a bottle.
Did not put things in place before doing this as I haven't had a beam pop in a long time.
So Its an outdoor seedling till I can get lights and...
