All running now. In the process of breaking the domes I knocked a single LED chip which killed half the LEDs. Nothing a dollop of solder won’t fix so the setup is 7 x 3000k 15W 7 x 5000k 15W Pack of 4 of ea was $2.99 On

Nice, how you find them ? I'm thinking I'm going to chuck in any cheap ass LED I find and see what I can grow, this is a prototype test bed for a future dedicated grow room

Popping the domes makes a massive difference, although I cracked a LED on a couple of the globes haha so they're running at 50% until I can solder the break.

Keep and eye on this post! I'll be updating it as I go, I'm just figuring this out by trial and error so happy to share and take on anyone else's suggestions!

That's really impressive! I've got a couple of 4ft LED shop lights I scored for $3.99 ea going to adapt them into my grow box and probably throw in an additional chandelier and a mix of 3000k and 5000k globes

haha yes, grabbed a couple of 7-1 light holders off amazon which are usually used for photography lighting, approx $8ea + $1 per globe

Nice I’m running 13w and 2x 10w blurple grow light bulbs which state 1200lumens. Popped the domes, all the plants really like it.

Playing around with the light arrangements, got some other plants in there for the moment (getting ready to go outside) Short a couple of 2700k bulbs, so going to grab a couple more tomorrow, hack off the diffusers and paint the box.

Indeed! I’ve got a fan in there but something to keep an eye on specially if I remove the diffusers

Some photos of the grow room last year whilst I was building it - about 8' x 8' Was a useless POS extension someone built in the 60s without any proper footings!!!!!!! Morons put cinderblocks on dirt !
