Companion plants - yay - nay - help

For aphids I use basil and mint plants. The smell keeps them away. But don’t put at least the mint in the same pot I would say because they can have pretty invasive root systems.

Growing in canna coco really concerned with how it's going!

Next step is to hold back the eagerness and let the plant do what it needs to do. Patience is the hardest part about growing cannabis Imo, but just give it time to dry out and spread your waterings out. Maybe even wait until it’s showing signs of being under watered. In my experience plants...

White Runtz and Lava Cake Grow

Finishing up an indoor round of Lava Cake and White Runtz. Grown with 2 100W LEDs in a 2x4 tent. Plants in 10 gallon fabric pots with coco based soil that I made myself using coco coir, perlite, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, homemade compost and worm castings.

Just double checking my distance, never used LED before.

I use the same Mars Hydro LED in my 2x4 tent running 2 of them. I’ve found for me 24” inches from the top of the canopy in flower and 12-14” from the top of the canopy for flower has worked really well. If it’s too close the plants will start telling you ;)

Growing in canna coco really concerned with how it's going!

I always tell my friends asking for advice in growing that underwatering is better than overwatering. If you feel the pot after you water, it’s gonna have some weight to it. You’ll water when the pot feels damn near weightless or if the plant shows signs of being under watered then water and...

Plants ~3 weeks old, haven't fed them and they looked burned. Halp?

I’ve noticed similar things happening to me when I was first starting to grow and looking back it was always an issue related to stress or genetics. Check all the boxes for stress, are you over or under watering the plants? (Looks like they might be over watered a little but you did say you just...

Companion plants - yay - nay - help

So starting with the clover. I haven’t had an issue during flower with the red clover, I would suspect you would be able to start noticing a nitrogen toxicity in flower if there was an issue but I have not had that happen to me. If it did I would probably heavily thin the red clover (take a lot...

Companion plants - yay - nay - help

Love seeing people get into this!!! A great companion plant that I use in all my outdoor pots is red clover. This is a nitrogen fixing cover crop that’ll keep the soil moisture really constant keeping your roots happy as well as acting like a living manure as it’s constantly giving nitrogen to...

How to root a clone in coco, no rock wool!

Hey everyone, this is my first post but I’m deciding to post this because I couldn’t really find any solid information anywhere else on this. But what I’m talking about is taking a cutting from your cannabis plant and getting it to root, but what if you don’t have rock wool? I was wondering if...
