Iv been looking at this on eBay its only 20quid if you're in the uk. Athena says its 0.028% this stuff says 0.02% so almost the same but like 3x cheaper
Are they beneficial when they have a food source like fungi? My coco is sterile so not sure if this means they can only live on the roots? Plus theres thousands of them 😂
Plants look a little like magnesium deficiency, some leaves look dry and curled up (taco) like they're too hot
My room is...
Another pic when I moving the coco around looking for any other root pests, hardly any roots, I can't do this to the plants with no springtails because there's too many roots
@BurnzYzBudZz theres no roots on the 2nd photo mate lol first photo is the plant that looks great and as no springtails. I've had a magnifying glass on top of the plant no pest and I spray once a week as well as a precaution 👍🏽
I know springtails aren't meant to be harmful but these little f****s are eating my plants roots!
Plants effected with springtails are showing a slight deficiency and they have very little root growth compared to the other plants around them.
I've tried using athena ipm that's done nothing...
Yeah same issue with me. I used the 10lbs tub to make the 2.5lbs/gal mix. Core is always just about spot on the ec it should be but grow is 0.5 ec under. I asked athena they told me I've mixed wrong, which I know I haven't. Looks like now I need to use almost twice the amount of grow so I'm...
@Tracyfri sorry only just seen the message in my inbox not been around on here for a while and I didn't get a email notification. I'm not using the BlueLab pulse now I brought a solus teros 12 meter, after seeing how much the BlueLab pulse is incorrect it went in the bin lol
I've only just...
Yeah seems to be working definitely better than my last run, this is probably just down to multiple feeding in small pots which I've never done, but I'm always after bettering things up so next time I'll be doing a lot more reading on crop steering and trying that out. Not sure if you've seen...
This is my first run using small 1gal fabric pots, I've been feeding 11 times a day, the growth was so fast in veg. I have a bluelab pulse the most dry back I get is 80% so not a lot at all. Ive been doing a lot of reading on crop steering so this is something I will try on my next run because...
Like I said from what I did in my room only using leaf temps to set humidity to give me 1kpa gives me the most stomata openings which I believe shows from more co2 being used and if anyone else is interested to see if it shows similar results for them no harm in trying. Really this is like using...
A lad I was speaking to that does all that crop stearing stuff and uses a meter to check stomata openings I can't share it because it's voice recorderings said this "you should only be basing it of leaf temperature and not leaf and room temps because this is how you're telling if stomata are...
First calculate was done with leaf and room temps to give a humidity of 59% for 1kpa. When only using leaf temperature to get 1kpa this gives me a humidity of 69%. Nothing else changed in the room only temps and humidity, I understand what you mean with plants growing closer to lights etc but I...
I was going to put this in this vpd thread last week but decided not to open a tin of worms but here I am oh well here goes....😂 I'm just one guy doing a test in his own room I'm not trying to say there's a wrong or right way I'm just sharing what I've found...
I did some testing on vpd with...
