Questions About Curing in Plastic Buckets

Since burping 75 mason jars daily is a pain, this year I want to switch over to curing in food grade plastic buckets with the locking lids. Are 5 gallon buckets too big? How many pounds of buds can I put in each container (filling 2/3)? Gotta love high quality problems!

I have aphids, some ants…I’m a noob. Sorry…we all start somewhere.

I spread cinnamon around the trunk and the ants don't come back. Worked over night.

Same here on the ants and aphids with one of my GG4s at 4100 feet in Northern Ca. Since we're a few weeks into bud, I used my hose to spray the heck out of them with water AFTER pruning anything unnecessary from the plant (little sucker shoots going the wrong direction, any buds buried in the...

I've got to get going on dry icing kief from my shopping bags of trim. It's tough to get motivated when I've got way too much weed from the harvest. High quality problem. That honey looks good.

I get a giggle when I'm buried in trimming for days because I grew way too much, and I catch myself feeling sorry for myself! High quality problems!

Harvested my last plant. I decided after the 25 degree night we had that it wasn't growing anymore. Next year I'll pull before a hard freeze. Experimentation is good when you've already harvested 5 pounds. The weed smoked great and I got a great high, so I decided not to wait until Halloween.

Unfortunately we haven't gotten rain yet, and the CA forest where I grow is a tinderbox. Otherwise a candle would be great.

Supposed to get down to 25 degrees tonight. I've left only this one Sour Diesel in; covered her in two layers of plastic a sheet, and added a moving blanket. If she gets through tonight, she will probably go until Halloween. Also nice to get a break in my trimming.

Same hardcore advice I was given at 4100 ft. We're looking at a low of 25 in a day or two, and I'll leave at least one of two in, hoping to get at least one to "Halloween.

Thanks! Ten years growing, and I still get envious when I see plants ready for harvest showing very little yellow. Literally, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

My leaves are either fallen or yellow by harvest. How did you keep so green until now? I'm at 4100 ft. elevation:

Took one of the Gorilla Glue #4s down. Great weather ahead, but need to keep trimming a few hours each day, getting everything done before freezing comes. Or I may have to pay my wife to help me trim...
