So none of the new 103 seeds out have popped yet 😫 fingers crossed they do. The photos are plodding on, a couple was topped Saturday. The autos that survived the rabbits are looking good but I didn’t get any pics of them but this is what the autos are looking like …

So from the 100 autos we put out, 100 germinated and was going well… last week we found out we had been done good and proper by the rabbits so from the 100 every single one got eaten… 14 of them survived… the rabbits basically topped them for us… a few are looking strong still but a few are...

So after a few weeks of site prep we have the 100 auto seeds in propagators and the 8 Mac 1 photo cuttings in the ground 👀 So after a couple of days we went back up to check on everything and so far we have 85+ of the seeds popped and we have put cages and gave a little feed to the photos 👀

A caravan is like a motorhome but one that you tow rather than drive... But mine is a static caravan so one that doesnt move its just on a holiday park... A cheap version of a holiday home 🤣

Theres been a few errors on my part, i started off in a small tent under leds but it was still cold here and the tent was in a caravan... I kept temp around 17°c but didnt take into consideration that the floor was cold to touch and i didnt raise the pots from the floor so they became abit...

Im hoping it is the glyphosate overspray and not done deliberate by the farmer as now they have been topdressed with abit of rain im hoping these last few will survive and not just gradualy die off 🤔 i could have done with flushing them with some water first but theres not a water supply close...

Turns out glyphosate is used by farmers on wheat fields just before harvest, and apparently they harvest early to mid august in the uk anyway. There was a couple left there that didnt look too affected so im hoping on my next visit, now theyve been fed, after a good downpour which we are due...

So after a hard earnt lesson and a little research... Dont grow next to wheat fields unless your harvest is ready before theirs... Before harvest wheat fields are sprayed with glyphosate...

Yeh its nothing major.. But im in the uk so weve had our 2 months of good weather for the year unfortunately 😂 ive got a few spots for next year, its always something i wanted to do and this one was just a trail run nearish my house... Before i moved so became ballache checking on them hence...

Photos are terrible my bad. Ive topdressed with what i said and just going to hope for the best, the plants not wet they are almost dried out, the weather hasnt been bad, not rainy, had a little sun, mainly overcast but have had a few days good temp and sun the last few days and its scheduled...

So this is the plants 2 weeks ago... They was all looking healthy... I went back today and the farmers field next to my plot had been harvested... I think it was wheat... But all the cuttings off the whest or whatever it was had scattered over most of my plants, im not sure if something...

So... The garden plant is doing ok, the 5 straglers i put in thw ground are okish (2 have been had by slugs one drasticly one might be savable) but my main spot with thw 15... WTF... the farmers field had been harvested next to the plants so i think something has been sprayed and its got all on...

Im looking forward for the next few years as id like to progress onto breeding and tpying with genetics to make a high yielding hardy plant which is suited for englands $h!te weather 😂
