    If you can control the capture and flow,then redirect and minamize soil capacity? You can control the erosive nature of the slide area. I like terrace farming.It is a lot of work but once in you can really use a slope to your advantage. Mycelium will help but isn't the only part to the solution.

    It looks like chafing on the leaf surface also,maybe some thrips.Scope for bugs though.

    I would scope the vein leaf intersections and also around all the round white and black spec to get a visual confirmation of a culprit.edit-probably a mite ,broad mite maybe russet

    You can buy a simple analog meter to see what is hitting them.They cost less then 5 bucks.Seeds or fresh cuts like it above 500 but under 1000.Theyll try to get away from it if its too much and theyll try to go to it if its to little.

    ribboning or fasciation is the correct term.I think it is a phytotoxin or a meristematic pathogen,but it really needs more "lab" testing.I would stay away from breeding with those.I haven't found a benefit in the structure at all on a commercial level.
