I just burped my jars daily I used the readings as a rough idea as to how fast they were drying after a week or two the readings were not rising as much And other indicators such as buds were no longer clumping.. then I let them go longer in the jars... Once readings were the same all eight jars...

Does the jar with the higher RH only have flower inside or do you have something else in there?

well popping the cap off taking a quick look and putting it right back on will probably make an insignificant impact. . When I started curing my buds I didn't use anything in the jar, to get a good idea where the buds were moisture wise, sometimes they were at 55% and I close them right back up...

With similar humidity readings I burped once a day sometimes for an hour sometimes a little less roll them around a little bit recapped until the next day, it might be good to know what the humidity changes will be without an orange peel to get a solid indication of where the drying process is...

There are many views on this but if mine read 55 RH after 24Hours after being in the jar then I would seal it backup check them in 48 hours see if it changed? I'm sure someone else with more experience can weigh in. In the first week my jars RH would raise 3 maybe even Five Points in 24 hours...
