Fucked up plant, not many theories..

It’s not fungus or light burn. Looks to me to be a bit over fertilized. Water with plain water for a week or more and the new growth should be healthy. Foliar feeding with some calcium and micros will help too.

issues with yellow after moving to bigger system.

If the root are long enough to reach the water the level should be an inch or two below the bottom of the net pot, rockwool can get saturated from the watering ring if stays near the center. After the plant has roots long enough to reach the water I would stop using it.

    Can this problem be solved?

Lower your ppm/ec by 15-20%. The discolored leaves and red stems is usually from high ppm causing some nutes to get locked out. Foliar feeding them with a balanced fertilizer will help their recovery

issues with yellow after moving to bigger system.

They look way under fed to me. A good way to dial in your ppm is, if the ppms drop over a up the ppms. If they go up lower the ppm. I’d go to 550 -600 and go from there. For ph I adjust it to 5.8 and let it drift up to 6.2 before I bring it down again. If the roots are long enough set the water...

    Gross yellow bugs in hydro

Put some spinosad insecticide in your reservoir. Should take care of them in overnight Spinosad is organic, not terribly toxic to humans, isn’t systemic and breaks down in a few days.

Does this look like Magnesium deficiency?

I’m thinking it’s nutrient lock out due to the sodium added by your water softener.
