Let's see your outdoor grow 2022

I can agree with this. Although this year I tried a salad bowl trimmer to do a wet trim right at chop, a wash and then 10 - 12 days in a mesh drying rack. It's definitely not a dispensary level trim but certainly good enough for my personal use, and it got me down to about an hour per plant (5-7...

Anyone else get a little nostalgic when the last plant is chopped and trimmed up for the year? This is chem cake after a wet trim and 10 day stay in the mesh rack. Good work everyone!

I have done a h2o2 bud wash on all but one of my outdoor plants this year. The non washed and a couple washed are in their curing phase now and from my early sampling the washed stuff is a smoother feel.

I suggest doing a bud wash anytime you grow outside.... Esp when you are finding a little rot here and there. As for trimming it's all personal preference. I use a bowl trimmer and do it wet. This leaves me with 1/4 inch of leaves sticking out from the buds and I can dry trim that off later if...

Let's see your outdoor grow 2022

Anyone in here experience calyxes turning brown and soft in this high humidity late summer in northern new England? I've started harvesting and am noticing this on some stalks and on the stalk side of done buds. I've dove in to the buds closest and there is no rot on the interior of the buds...

It is, I harvest my tops and then the rest a few days to a week later. I don't do it to get different stages though, I do it to get more consistent throughout.

I agree I agree with this. Not sure when to harvest? Harvest a few of the same plants a week or so apart and teach yourself what you truly like best. Synthetic vs organic? Do one of each and teach yourself which is better for you! Im just a novice outdoor farmer that grows with organic...

Those are going to be much much better off. Good work. At this point in the game you won't really hurt your yield by trimming you actually help protect it by trimming (helps you notice any rot or pests and creates way better air flow)

Let's see your outdoor grow 2022

I always cut anything within a couple inches of area with rot. If you are chopping in 10 days then yes I would go real heavy on defoliation ASAP. Never heard of anybody to upset they harvested 95% of their grow by chopping a week "early" but I've heard some really upset when they lose 50% or...

Let's see your outdoor grow 2022

How long are you trying to hang on for? Heavy defoliation will help you find if there's anymore that you missed and will help airflow so that's probably your best move
