Cropsteering In-depth daily journal using TrolMaster

@jb420710 Sorry for your troubles, listen to Dirtbag he’s very knowledgeable when it comes to Rockwool and could help you get these girls back on track. I agree that you should increase your air temperature to allow the plants to transpire correctly. You want the plants leaf temperatures to be...

intense moisture problem, any possible ideas?

What temperature is your tent and what temperature is your garage? I’m just curious, doesn’t sound like it’s the problems I had (Mine started at the beginning of winter and was a very extreme temperature difference between the grow and attic)

intense moisture problem, any possible ideas?

What temperature is your garage compared to the temperature you keep the tent? Try and heat up your garage to be a bit closer to the temperatures you keep the tent at, if possible. If it’s too much colder (25+ degrees) outside the tent in the garage it could be the problem. That could create a...

How many hours a week do you spend on your plants?

60+ Hours every week. I run a very small licensed medical grow though as full time work. I don’t know many people in the industry so it’s largely just me every step of the way. Leading up to a harvest so getting toward 11-12 hours every day, but after the harvest is done I’ll have a few light weeks.

Great point! I agree with @tobh

Lower your EC significantly, I had a feeling something was up from the algae building up faster than the plants grow. Wait for @Dirtbag or someone else with more experience than me to confirm, but; You likely have a lot of unused salts built up in your Rockwool and will need to flush them out...

@jb420710 What is your current watering schedule? If it’s flood and drain how often and what PH & ppm?

I like your approach! I’m a longtime Rockwool grower, totally new to crop steering but I just started using an Aqua-x this cycle You should have a lot more growth by now, let’s figure out what’s slowing things down a bit. Why are you defoliating so heavily? How do the roots look at the bottom...

    Issues with cloning! EZ Clone

https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/i’m-so-annoyed-been-mia-trying-to-solve-my-cloning-issue.132695/page-6 Here it is, he had almost the exact same 132 site cloner problem and solved it, this thread might help, or at least give you a few ideas to try. Anyone else have any advice?

    Issues with cloning! EZ Clone

@BluePowerRanger had a very similar issue too and they solved it by lowering the water temperature (they got a small chiller for a 132 site cloner if I remember right) I’m gonna loop in @Ponky because he has a similar thread that’s not getting enough love.

    Issues with cloning! EZ Clone

This ☝🏻 but first throughly scrub everything clean with hot water and soap (possibly with some hydrogen peroxide mixed in to help fight organic buildup) Then rinse throughly with hot water, Then wash everything with bleach for the final clean and rinse out throughly. (Do NOT let hydrogen...

Well it finally happened. Total loss.

Damn sorry man! I wish I had better advice. @BluePowerRanger Do you have any ideas? I know you had some cloning issues for a little while too that you cleared up, although I guess that was more an aeroponic cloner setup.

For sure, so many variables in hydro that can go wrong fast. I always just try my best to give the girls the best life I can; keeps them (and me) happy. What do you think of Floraflex’s general crop steering strategies Dirtbag? I know these charts are for coco and all the specifics will be a...

Awesome, Looking great! I love the perpetual grow! How often do you harvest? I’ve tried to grow like that (kind of). I split my flower room in half and harvested half each month. I had to give up once I got too bottlenecked though, now working on 4 major harvests a year and eventually 5...

I had this idea to remove the excess water from the Rockwool cubes after prepping and soaking them, what do you guys think? 1: Fully saturate all cubes with properly mixed starting solution 2: Stack the cubes one on top of another (It naturally starts draining excess water from the top cube)...

I’m in too! Great place for some group learning 🤙🏻 My grow is definitely a work in progress, I just got moisture meters halfway though this flowering cycle so I might not be able to contribute much until mid-late January

    New Simplified Way to Water

I’ve been thinking of the placement too, this is for Rockwool (all I work in) I have different meters but copied this strategy, anyone know of any similar guidelines? (Especially for soil, I think that will help the vast majority here the most)

It’s better than it looks, I swear! 🤣 Day 27 of Flower, definitely happier than last round and I avoided overwatering and stunting/ slowing them down for a week (so far) 😁
