Seedlings are looking bad. Any ideas?

Low light (low lumens or ppfd), Keep the water content of the soil moist but not wet. Test with you finger p to the first knuckle, and make sure your inflow nutrient mix is on the light side. Around half to one quarter of the recommended dose. Set you temp around 26 celcius and your humidity...

How to repair after a topping?

Spraying fulvic acid and Kelp at a 5:2 ratio the day before topping or defoliation helps tremendously with any stress. Triacontanol also helps with stress. Especially at transplant. Hope this helps.

Male/Female?? Looks a little off with hairs and what looks like balls to me?

Those are 100% female. What you are seeing is the first Calyx forming. Nothing to worry about. However there is some purpling on your stems and some stressed leaves showing single blades. Can you say a little about your grow media, watering practices and lighting please?

Hi can some help me out please and tell me what i have on my plants i think its powdery mildew

I would steer away from any tobacco products. Only for the slight chance of tobacco mosaic virus. Pyrethrins are derived from chrysanthemum flowers. Not technically "a chemical" see my reply about mosquito puffers.

Hi can some help me out please and tell me what i have on my plants i think its powdery mildew

100% thrips. I use the battery powered mosquito puffers. They contain pyrethroids. Just plug and play. Set it to whatever size room you have and just leave it. Some rechargeable batteries and a couple of refills every round and you're golden.

Sealed room- Purple stems, minor canoeing & unknown issue!

hello bro Overwatering is possible if using perlite due to it's moisture retention. Dry backs can be used just not to the extent of soil dry backs. Shooting for around 75% Water content before next watering is plenty to balance root growth and saturation.

Sealed room- Purple stems, minor canoeing & unknown issue!

High EC at the rootzone due to salt build up from evaporation. Causing root burn and nutrient burn in you leaves. Wild pH swings. Causing nute lockout and deficiency.

Sealed room- Purple stems, minor canoeing & unknown issue!

Hey brother. Coco doesn't act like soil at all. It needs to stay above 75% saturation at all times. Dry back can be used but only to minimum 75% water content. yes you can overwater in coco. Not so much the amount of water as it's the frequency of the waterings. Start watering your coco half...

These pics show stressed plants. Many reasons that will happen. Can you please tell me the following? (emitter may be clogged) Is it all the plants or just one? Is there hard wind blowing on the plants? Have you checked ppfd from the lights? (Sometimes they show this stress when they have an...

Bluelab pulse any opinions for Coco grow?

I'm currently using a bluelab pulse meter in coco. It needs to be calibrated to your mix...say 70/30 coco/perlite but once you do that its invaluable. It reduces watering frequencies. It tells you whether your issue is EC based or pH based. (by ruling out EC value) It shows you how your EC...

Run off or no run off in Coco

Hey Brother, Do not let your coco dry out. That will lead to a high EC in the rootzone and a whole plethora of issues along with. I run 13L pots and water 600ml 3 times a day in Veg with Nutrients. I get my run off each watering at around 5-10%. Keeps my rootzone in a nice EC value. If you can...

New Grower - Advice - Is This Normal??

Hey Bro. I would avoid using neem oil as the active ingredient azederachtin has been linked to a syndrome which isn't very nice. Neem will work but one action of treatment usually sees the return of the pest in question unless you use something harsh like a heavy insecticide. Milbemectin is made...

New Grower - Advice - Is This Normal??

I would bet my career these pests are Thrips. It could also be leafhoppers which are harder to get rid of but my money is on thrips. Spray spinosad and milbemectin as a 2 action treatment seperately every 3 days until signs desist. Foliar spray kelp extract and fulvic acid to help get over the...

Are red spider mites easy to get rid of?

Basically the same process but a different chemical family. Don't know if it would work as I've not really researched it due to the availability of Milbemectin where I am. Thanks for the reply bro.

Are red spider mites easy to get rid of?

You could try a product called Milbemectin. It's an acaracide safe for use and its mite specific. Product name is Milbeknock. Here is a little blurb on it. I used it on a friends mothers that was infested and it was clear in a week with zero mites. Milbeknock (active ingredient : Milbemectin)...

    Unconventional Supplements and Pest Treatment

I would love to run some UVB through my grow but I am currently utilising 2 large grow rooms so they are out of my price range for the moment as I would need 48 T5's. The UVC came in handy as a cheaper option. Definitely a good shout though brother.✌️ OP would be safe to keep the UVB on a...
