Please help ! Depressed looking plants

Here is my proverbial 2 cents for what its worth. I dont have much experience and I dont (wont) grow in coco. Too much work on the "PH balance side". But I have had my problems and have fixed them by trying different things. Use soil in lieu of coco for a PH buffer. If you want to grow in...

    PH A Basic explanation

@Aqua Man - This is one area I have been a little perplexed by. My situation: Im growing in Fox Farm Ocean Forest I use tap water through a chlorine filter My "out of hose" ph runs between 7.8 and 8.2 I PH down to get between 6.4 and 6.2 My take away is that since I'm growing in soil Im...

    Are these burns or deficiencies?

I'm still pretty new at this but have some gardening experience. I cant narrow it down but suspect a few things. 1. Based on what you said about your lights I think they should be 24-30 inches above your plants. 2. If you are using a good soil, not coco, reduce your nutes by 75%. Your soil...

Any one tried New SONOFARM led lights

I'm still new at this so take with a proverbial grain of salt. I did my research for my first grow (May 2021) and went with the Gavita 1700E lights. A bit pricy but hey have come down a bit and really liked what I read on them. So far they have proved to be really good. I started a second tent...

is foliar feeding with seaweed extracts beneficial?

Cant comment, no experience but goole says How effective is foliar feeding? In short, foliar feeding is usually not the most cost effective method of supplying nutrients to plants. However, it has proven to be an effective method of treating certain nutrient deficiencies and (perhaps)...

Foxtailing at day 28 bloom ? Opinions ?

Ahhhh, I think that's it. When he gave them to me my tent wasn't complete so I kept them on the west side of my house for a few days, maybe a week. 15 hours of indirect light at the time but maybe only about 7 hours of direct light there.

    Looking for product buying advice.

If just one space then I would go with the Gavita 1700e and one will cover it nicely. I paid $999 each but have recently seen them for around $800 each. PS Gavita does not include the cord so figure an additional $20 for that

PH while adding more PK in flower

First time grower and during my veg state (more N than PK) I had to add PH down to get it in the 6.2 range. However, now that I have reduced the N and added a little more PK Im finding that I need to add some PH up. Seems like these nutes drag down the PH level. Oh, all liquid nutes. Has anyone...

    Looking for product buying advice.

My first crop is about 4-5 weeks from harvest. I have a 5x10 space (gorilla tent with the 1 ft. upper extension) and I purchased (after much research) two Gavita 1700's for this space. I couldn't be happier. And at just 5.6 amps each, its easier on my electric bill. I dot think you can go wrong...

Foxtailing at day 28 bloom ? Opinions ?

Interesting. The ones that did this were clones given to me by an acquaintance. Maybe he took them during flower and eventually they smoothed out after getting 19 hours of light. They got even better after several weeks and even better after the first week of flower. Thanks for the advice.

A little help for a new grower, how far am I from harvest.

I dont grow autos, I want to control the entire thing and I look at weeks. Once I switch to flower I think of 8 weeks first but will go as long as 12 weeks. Some get cut earlier than others.

IM back !! SF4000 and BeanStalk CRF

Question: This is my first grow and I have used liquid Nutes: Botanica Veg and then Botanica Bloom. I feel like its OK but not great. Just getting ready to start my second grow and Im curious about this. Do you use this Beanstalk regiment? Do you follow the instructions? and how does it work for...
