Not completely important, as in you can interrupt it to check temps, the plants, humidity whatever. I think it's because light degrades trichomes but, I suspect more that it has something to do with mold growth somehow. I'd like to know the real deal also.

Ya, that's why I suggested aiming for those targets. It's hard without the right equipment, so just as close as you can get the better it should go.

Whereever you put it, aim for 60F and 60%humidity, with fresh air supply and moving air.

I tried it with mine, about the same size. This is where I'm at, reveging my first attempt. I think they stayed in too long, but I took them out of 12/12 as soon as I saw sex. Shrug

i tried it but it took me 6 weeks of reveg to get her back. heard you just stick the plant in 12/12 till you see the sex then put back under normal light (i went with 24 hrs). shits still a train wreck, gonna take clones and start over soon.

I think all the grow lighting stuff at those stores are over priced because theyre selling it to you for plants. cant imagine its leaps and bounds over a regular bulb and a reflector being 9W though.

So true, we always have spray vegetable or canola oil. I use that, then dawn.
