Best way to cure a lot of weed?

I'd grab a bunch of large plastic tubs. So you can store whole, dry, untrimmed branches in them. That way they won't over dry and you can get to trimming them whenever you have time. Just be sure the material is adequately dry and regularly inspect the tubs.

I think that's good idea Aqua Man. 👍

    Need some help! Nutrient deficiency?

@Chestervillegrower Twice a week maybe too often, or too much for nutrients, if it's growing in the ground. When has it been getting plain water? What are your nights like, are they generally on the cooler side? My own climate is warm or hot during the day, but often cold during the night...

    Drying the buds…when to jar?

Just dry it out some more. Evenly is the trick. That's why I like the paper bags myself, once buds seem adequately dry. Because it evens the moisture content of all the buds inside the bag. Whether large buds or small. It's most useful for large nuggets, because they're always the last to dry...

    Drying the buds…when to jar?

Once you dry it too far, there's no going back really. You can use a fresh bit of leaf to rehydrate it a little bit. Another trick oldies used to use was a bit of orange peel. But as far as the enzymic reactions during drying / curing it's pretty much over once too dry. Too dry will mull way too...

    Drying the buds…when to jar?

60f/60h or thereabouts to hang / dry. In my opinion it should be "just" dry enough to properly mull a session and enjoy smoking it. At this point myself, I then transfer it all into large paper bags for a day or two. To even out the dryness / moisture, before jarring for long term. More often...

    HELP! Are these POLLEN SACS?!

Thanks for the informative response Frankster, If I may offer a hypothetical scenario. Let's say I have my favorite cut of cannabis that doesn't express both sexual organs, unless something about my growing environment changes. As good as this cutting may be, wouldn't the cutting and...

    HELP! Are these POLLEN SACS?!

Would you not consider the presence of both sexual organs as monoecious though? Just asking, curious myself, thought I'd ask. Certainly agree dioecious cannabis plants exist. More than people give them credit for. Agree with you, I avoid them like the plague too. Plant selection is extremely...

    Purple tips I am confused

That's what I'm assuming too. But the specks between the veins is what I was more curious about. I think it's being sensible to scope the plant over and see. Very least it'll rule mites out.

    Purple tips I am confused

Whether there are visible signs or not, I think it's well worth checking the plant for mites, just as a precaution. They could be anything and likely nothing, but what are those white specks on the leaves in picture 3, between the leaf veins?

How does root ball size affect ph

Up to you in my own opinion. Gets difficult to keep it consistent when they outgrow their pots. Lots of fluctuation, pH, water, nutrient etc. I don't see any harm in treating it in a similar fashion to DTW in this scenario. The soil particles break down / dissolve. Watering has a compacting...

    Deficiency, watering issue or other?

Sorry may I ask as well, you used enough sodium carbonate to raise the water to 7.1? I think it's being sensible to suggest giving it a week or so, to see if the Aragonite Sand has any benefit, before top dressing any dolomite lime. What's your water source in general? If it's pH is close to...

Cal Mag Problems from Garden Lime (I think)

I can't really make that call myself, as I haven't used the product before. But in general those liquid organics work more as a nutrient supplement. I wouldn't rely on them as a source of organic matter. And I wouldn't go adding any rich organic matter. But see no harm in an inch or two of fresh...

    Deficiency, watering issue or other?

Hey man, glad things are turning around. If I may, I don't think sodium carbonate is a good idea at all. Anything sodium I'd stay away from, it'll end up wreaking havoc. Leaf tips, burn, deficiency, overwatering symptoms, you name it. Sodium is a no go. I really do recommend lime. Lime /...

Cal Mag Problems from Garden Lime (I think)

Have you been periodically giving plain water with some runoff? I might be way off the mark here, but there's a fair amount of room on the pot. You could try a top dressing of fresh ocean forest? Being soil, a large plant and looks as though been in that pot for a while, it may benefit from a...

Whats wrong with my new growth? I KNOW do you.

Are you suggesting these types of charts are mostly useless for diagnosis? If so I 100% agree. The most they should ever be is a very rough guide. What we often think "looks" like iron, sulphur, calcium, magnesium etc is caused by something else entirely. I mean all possibility aside, 2 thirds...

It's all good man, I appreciate the response. For what it's worth I think your intentions are in the right place. Guess we all just go about things a different way. Respectfully I'm going to refrain from commenting any further, I'll look out for the answer. Have a good day too mate.

How necessary is it to spend money on soil microbes?

I'll be honest, I've tried adding extra microbes outdoors, I didn't notice a big difference myself at all. Couldn't be bothered keeping up with it for the return. Though in fairness, I can see the point of adding extra microbes to indoor mixes in smaller pots. There's only so much new organic...

Aqua Man's 24hr trivia for rights to edit my signature

You might get a kick out of reading about the Phytochrome System. Not my field of expertise, so I won't try going into detail. But it's essentially the relationship plant's have with red and far red light. And why plants grow towards the sun, know what time of year it is, and why they don't...

Agreed and could be calcium too. Could be either 3, or neither of them at all.
