Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

Ok everyone, well it's embarrassing, but these are still not flipped into f'ing flower. It's a series of long stories and it's somewhat irrelevant at this point. This is now month FOUR of veg. To summarize since I last posted, my EC went from a 3.0 to a 1.7-1.8 (and the plants were definitely...

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

Yes, there is like a 50-60 PAR difference between the middle of the tables and directly underneath the lights. There is overlapping coverage from the lights on both sides, which gives a more even PAR reading throughout the entire room if your tables are centered in the room and it minimizes the...

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

So just to kind of recap, is the consensus that I could top and still be "fine", and if so should I do so before or after transplanting into 3 gallon pots? If I do it after transplanting into 3 gallons, should I wait a couple days before topping to avoid any further stress from transplanting? It...

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

I believe the reason they are stretchy and lanky is because they started in the room with the LED's and were growing fine without much lankiness, then they reached a point where the canopy got so thick, the only direction to go was up. In addition, I had the lights too high above the canopy and...

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

I'm not sure what I want to do. I wanted to ask the hive mind here and then kind of go from there, and I appreciate all the responses. I'm leaning towards the topping them down significantly, and seeing what happens. I feel like at this point between all the nutes, time, effort, headaches, etc...

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

So my pictures were just to focus in on the size of the plants, but my entire room is evenly covered with Gavita's. I went for lighting the entire room versus lighting tables (Gavita recommends this and says lighting tables versus rooms is wasting light and not giving an even PAR coverage in the...

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

Oh no, I absolutely did not want or need to veg them for 2 months. I thought everything was ready to go in my flower room, so I bought the clones and started, but it was just one setback after another and I only finally got it all ironed out. I didn't want to veg longer than 3 weeks to a month

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

How many nodes need to be left after topping to still get a decent yield? Some of the tall ones are stretched so much that there aren't a lot of bottom nodes left that are doing that good because they were almost completely shielded from the canopy above. My friend thinks I should just take...

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

No in veg they were under Phantom PhotoBIO MX 680's @ 65% intensity or about 675-700 PAR. Some of them will continue in there in flower, the rest go into other flower room.

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

The first week or two they weren't stretching so bad. As time went on though, they started getting out of control. To help visualize it better, there were (72) 1 gallon pots on a tray, and were sitting there like that in more or less perfect environmental conditions and feeding schedules for...

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

Ok everyone, so my problem is worse than I thought. For the first time today, the other room is ready for everything to be flipped and so I started moving the plants over. Once I started getting through to the middle of the tables in veg, some of the plants are essentially all stretch and just...

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

Do you guys recommend trellising still if I do the LST? @Harpua my lights aren't on the max setting, I have the DLI set to 700ppfd and it is staying pretty close to that range. These things are f'ing huge now because they are still in veg. I've had further technical difficulties (had to...

Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

Hey everyone, this is my first grow and I grabbed clones that were already at about ~2+ weeks old. I had to iron out some other setup issues and environmental control issues in the flower rooms that I didn't think were going to be an issue/didn't realize would be an issue until the last minute...

Drain to waste solutions for 7 tables

@Aqua Man My main concern with running tubing to a single reservoir is having to step over all the tubing when I need to pull the tables apart. Since it would need to gravity drain, it would need to be suspended unless I'm missing something (which is possible.) I could easily foresee sometime...

Drain to waste solutions for 7 tables

@gristle Do you mean hard pipe the drains from each table? The main problem I see from that is when I need to push the tables apart to get in between them, I don't know how to make the PVC pipe movable like that. That's why I was thinking of the tubing, which I could create some sort of slack...

Drain to waste solutions for 7 tables

That's where the drain begins (roughly between the 3rd and 4th table) and where it routes out of the room, which was the only real route it could take to reach the existing main drain, while also staying out of the way. There's about a 3' space between the end of the tables and beginning of the wall

Drain to waste solutions for 7 tables

Hey everyone, so I'm trying to figure out the optimal drainage solution for 7 tables, without the benefit of a floor drain. I do have a PVC drain that goes to the main drainage pipe. The drain pipe in the room does not go into the ground, but rather up, across the room, and into the adjacent...

New 24 light coco drip and waste setup -- input welcome!

What size pipe do you use to supply everything? 3/4"?

New 24 light coco drip and waste setup -- input welcome!

The 16" were what I was thinking of going with, with roughly that same spacing. I don't have any ducting though, only using mini splits; which was mainly so I could have controlled environments not affected by adjacent rooms. The extra holding tank for wastewater was also what I was thinking of...

New 24 light coco drip and waste setup -- input welcome!

Unfortunately, until the drywall mud has fully dried, I can't start painting, and until I do that I can't hang and plumb everything. The drywall should be all finished up hopefully by Wednesday at the latest. Here's pics up until now though. There's a hole in the wall in first pic where 18k mini...
