Kuwl's AutoPot Grow - Deja Vu

I'm sure they've improved the system from the time I bought it. It was like 20 years ago that I had used it. They didn't provide a reservoir then. It was just the double buckets, control bucket with a coil of 1/2" vinyl tubing and the rubber grommets and plastic connectors. I even had to drill...

Rootsruler running the ViparSpectra XS1500Pro light in a 2x2

Was wondering where you were. Figured you were busy wrestling that light you won into your tent!! Glad to see you're still in it!!! I raised the brightness after I took these pics. DLI is now in its next stage. I've been raising DLI around 5,000 lux every week. Once I hit week 7 I'll slowly...

Growth Shots and Super Soil ... I'm new and need friends with knowledge!

Everything looks good. You have enough screen coverage to flip. Get the R1's as flat as you can and put anything that doesn't reach that height on plant stands so that they are even with the screen. Feed as instructed. You know you can make your own supersoil right? The recipe they use is a...

Kuwl's AutoPot Grow - Deja Vu

I've used that system before when it first came out. It was a good system but it took a while to dial in. I also didn't like all the hose connections that you had to have as they were prone to leakage. Had a room flood on me when the control bucket sensor stopped working and emptied 55 gallons...

Growth Shots and Super Soil ... I'm new and need friends with knowledge!

Much better. Info is always good. Yes, pictures would greatly help. I see you have practical experience so you aren't some floundering newb. My suggestion would be to reconfigure your screen to be able to handle 2 levels. Like this.... Depending on the genetics, I like to run my tent a...

Rootsruler running the ViparSpectra XS1500Pro light in a 2x2

Yup! Cold will preserve terpenes from gassing out. 05/09/2023 Flowers are starting to fill out nicely!! I may need to start thinking about supports as these flowers are starting to fatten up pretty good!!! Surprised at how much light the light puts out!! One of my concerns with this...

    Triple Cut SCROG Log/Grow #2

05/09/2023 Lights on Tent Specs: Temperature - 77* Humidity - 62% VPD - 1.24 kPa So I'm going to acknowledge, what I would consider, the first mistake in this grow. I should have hung the second net sooner to support the branches and get more of the flower heads closer to the top. A lot of...

Thoughts on pushing the tent size with Viparspectra xs 1500 pro.

You'll be fine with a slight increase in tent size. I can personally attest to the fact that the light is solid and will do what you need it to do for the tent you have. I also like that they can be daisy chained so if you decide to expand your tent footprint you can expand by daisy chaining them.

Those Terp teas are getting some rave reviews all over the net. Great choice if you want to go the tea route.

I wish I was able to keep it in the jar long enough to actually have a surplus but the GF likes her smoke!!! 😄

I assume you're in a tent? If so then I also assume that you have your environmentals under control? Photoperiod or auto seed? I gave the site a glance. You have amended soil with a bloom tea. Same soil recipe I used to mix up years ago when I worked on outdoor farms. Same concept. Super soil...

Using a water meter for cannabis

Oh no, I agree with you. There are reasons why some like to grow organically and if they can pull it off then more power to them. My point is if your argument is that organic nutrients will give you "better" weed, at a molecular level, that just isn't true. I read a lot of questions and...

Using a water meter for cannabis

This is the big myth that a lot of growers perpetuate. You're point is taken in regards to issues like that but I do believe that organic farming has its place with those that like their ions derived naturally rather than synthetically. Does it change the cellular exchanges happening versus...

Using a water meter for cannabis

Now THAT is what you should be looking out for!!!👍 Had an ex who loved to tend her organic vegetable garden. I asked her what she did for pest and disease mitigation. She showed me a bottle of synthetic pesticide. I explained to her that spraying her plants with a synthetic pesticide nullified...

Sonic Hedgehog Grow / Speed+ (1st time hydro)

Agreed. Way to early. I suggest you buy a jewelers loupe so you can check trichome development to see when the flowers are ripe. 30/60 Loupes can be had on Amazon for as little as $6. BTW Flushing is broscience when it comes to end of harvest. The only time flushing is valid is when you need...

Using a water meter for cannabis

Not true for the most part. The food that your fruits and vegetables eat are the same regardless of whether they came from an organic source or a synthetic source. Once those molecules are broken down into an absorbable ion form there is no difference. The ONLY difference is in HOW they present...
