We all are cultivators whether 1st timer or master level...but what is your day job

Yes I like it. Been growing since covid started. DWC is so clean and easy.

Building maintenance, golfer, harasser of women, and as of friday, once again a dog trainer. And the nicest most honest guy you ever met. And I grow weed in 5 gallon buckets of water. I'm old, but at least that means I'm getting closer to retiring.

Question about a good dehumid for a small lung room?

I got the Midea Cube 20 Pint Dehumidifier. It keeps my lung room about 55% while it is in the mid 60's outside and fills about every other day. My problem is the lung room is drawing in a lot of outside air. I was also thinking of using the water, but I would run it through the distiller first.

Iron deficiency, or something else? Just about to flip to 12/12

Even tho they look good, I did dial it back a bit and will increase after the stretch. PPFD 700ish/DLI 28, Thanks again

Iron deficiency, or something else? Just about to flip to 12/12

@Pilted here is a pic of a white fire og. I flipped these last saturday, so 4 days into flower. Does this look more like a good light response? I ask because I intended on lowering the ppfd's on these as well as the troubled ones, but they look perky and they are at 800 ppfd so I would...

Yes, to your point, when I left for work this morning and the lights had been on all night, the new growth was definitely looking darker. I think the real benefit of posting tho was the heads up on the light intensity. I will definitely back off that significantly.

Thank Thanks for that Pilted, I'm a big proponent of less is more. I'll post results.

Yeah, I see your point. I will back it off tonight, 600 ppfd in center 400 at the edge? Sound better?

Just so we're not confused what we are looking at, my pics are only the first 3 in the original post. I'm in hydro. The next 3 were posted by JohnBlazr. He's in soil.

About 10 days ago I increased the intensity to keep the edges of the canopy at 500ppfd, which makes the brightest areas about 750. So across the canopy it ranges between 750-500. That's the HGL, I like the mars hydro in the other grow space that has way less drop off at the edges. But you are...

Currently light cycle is 18/6. 5pm on, 11am off. I took those particular pics 1 hour after lights on at 6pm.

Good point. I'm hoping that's what it is. The lower stuff looked so bad. But I lollipopped it last night anyway getting ready for the flip saturday, so all that stuff is gone. The ppms this week went from 780-720-680- 660, so I think you may be right.

Ok heads, I was going to flip this Granddaddy purp to flower this saturday, but yesterday it became apparent that the middle of leaves that are new growth are strikingly pale. And the bottom oldest stuff looks horrible. 2 pics here showing the pale new growth and 1 pic of a lower stem that looks...

Strange EC issue DWC last few weeks of flower

I have 2 plants going (cement shoes and amnesia haze) in individual DWC buckets. I am in week 9 of flower. I have an auto feed water system I made so that they are always topped off with fresh water as they drink. In these last couple weeks of flower I am running .8 EC, of which .4 of that is...

And so it begins, sealed grow room project

Dummybuds, How are you liking the Hydrobucket? I almost bought 4 the other day, but ouch, $75 for 1 bucket is a killer.

RDWC question that I haven't been able to find the answer to

I would love to do an RDWC, I'm a DWC grower and I always end up with my buckets at different heights so they are all at the same height at the canopy. You know what I mean, some plants are just shorter than others and grow at different rates. Of course if you grow all the same strain the height...

    Thought I would say High!

The grow space (under an HLG350R) takes up only a 5'x3' space in the room. Still enough room for the drums. I often ponder if the plants are stressed by the noise.

    Thought I would say High!

Love rock! Been practicing lately Baby blue badfinger and creep radiohead. My grow now is week 6, 2 plants, had 3 until Original glue went hermie. I've got Amnezia Haze and Cement shoes here. Cement shoes was a runt I should have thrown out, but now the buds are packing on beautifully.

Yeah, never with a band, just started that about 5 years ago. Had to build a soundproof room in the garage to keep the wife happy.
