New Mammoth controller setup has me stumped

Recently picked up the Mammoth controller for the 10 bar with UV and far red and the directions are of very little help. I’m not very tech savvy and I’m struggling trying to program it. I did try to call Mammoth, but they weren’t much help. Searched for any videos on how to, and came up empty...

First indoor harvest in 25 years

Well I’m about 5 days out from my first indoor harvest in 25 years. I’ve made so many mistakes along the way I’ve lost count, but it looks like I made it. I run a homemade aero system that a buddy RIP Bob, and I designed 30 years ago. Enclosing pics. A buddy gave me 4 clones 2 Sour Diesel and 2...

Growing Organic buy Nate - Growing like a viking

We put fresh dill in with some green beans we canned and they were amazing. I called em Dilly Beans.

    And the outdoor season begins…

Yes, I should have been a little more clear in that. That’s a couple pics of my first indoor garden in 25 years. It wasn’t without its challenges that’s for sure. It’s a homemade aero system similar to my old setup but with lots of technological upgrades lol. Things sure have advanced!

    And the outdoor season begins…

Read somewhere that if you continuously harvest and replant the seeds and the plants will grow better due to acclimating to the soil. Sounded plausible and it seems to be true. As I said it’s the fastest they’ve come up and damn near all of them.

    And the outdoor season begins…

We’re still having some 59 degree nights here in Illinois and things are banging in my veggie garden. The weekend rain got my beans really going. I just put them in last Wednesday. These are 3rd gen in my garden, not sure if that’s why.

    And the outdoor season begins…

Even with the Sohum living soil? I will be using a tea mix from other garden veggies from last season that have been soaking and using water from my bait tank.

3rd season growing them there. Here’s a couple pics from last year. 3rd season growing in that spot. They’re gonna be trained this year. Won’t be nearly as tall. Will post pics as the grow, well grows lol.

    And the outdoor season begins…

Already topped em, for sure gonna teainnem. Last year they got to talk and I had to pull them down with some string. Thinking some type of makeshift trellis. I’ve been measuring them daily and they sure are taking off. One has already grown 3”! I’m about a week and a half out from my first...

    And the outdoor season begins…

This will be my 3rd outdoor season. I put in 5 this year, a mystery Amsterdam, Blue Cheese, Grape Stomper, OG Kush and Sour Diesel. Put them in Wednesday and we’ve gotten a few days of rain and they really responded to the sun and rain. The Blue Cheese seed was popped a month after all the...

Need some advice leaf tips are browning

I’m 28 days into flower and I’m getting some browning on the fan leaves. Light is running at just under 50% and everything has been looking good til now. Using the recommended mix for nutrients. I’m using Sensi Bloom part A 3-0-0 and part B 2-4-8@. PH is not overly high or low in my system...

Switched lights and plants don’t seem to like it

Figured I’d give everyone that took the time to help me out. Plants bounced back once I dialed the light way back. Chalk that one up to my own stupidity. They went into flower on the 1st and since I bought a PAR meter I can now dial it up as I go and know how much the increase is. I didn’t...

They thought it was drug paraphernalia according to the manufacturer lol.

Switched lights and plants don’t seem to like it

Well my PAR meter showed up today. Right now it’s showing in the upper 200s in the center down at plant height for the clones and mid 300s further up on the taller plants. What ranges should I be looking for?

Switched lights and plants don’t seem to like it

Thanks for the input. The leaves are doing exactly that. Didn’t know it was referred to as ‘praying’ but pretty accurately describes what they’re doing. I did order a PAR meter, so I can at least check to see if the quoted levels are anywhere near what they claim. I’ve always been a ‘better to...

Here’s the PAR rating that they sent.

Switched lights and plants don’t seem to like it

Another grower just told me the same thing so I backed the light way down. In hindsight I guess I should have taken the increase in wattage and started low and slow. Don’t have a PAR meter yet. Thanks for taking the time to read and reply!
