Soil blocks should be bottom watered as much as possible. They sell specific capillary mats for this purpose. I soil blocked many of my vegetable transplants when I ran our CSA years ago, just dusted off the apparatus to give it a try with autos.

Folks that light dep plants outdoors have a good amount of practical info. I guess it takes more leakage to impart noticeable effects than previously discussed. Your genetic mileage may vary.

What sort of male bits are you shooting for? Have you considered doing an altered beast with STS spray, maybe give collecting your own pollen a try?

I grew a nice violet pheno my last grow - Elite Cut Genetics Black Cherry Bliss. I did two fem seeds; the second (right) was a darker purple/green that grew short and stout, frosty af. . This is a couple days after switching lights; I had them running too bright initially. 🫤
