    Mikedin’s garden center, Let’s grow!

I used to do the same but multiple shots of water definitely seems to yield better results. If the drybacks aren't daily you basically always steer the plants in a vegetative direction, well in hydroponics at least. Soil is a different thing though

    Mikedin’s garden center, Let’s grow!

Definitely, I'm in 6l pots with about 10% perlite, going to drop down to 3.2l straight coco in future to be able to steer better while the plants are still in veg. I wanted to have flipped to flower a week ago but drybacks were still too slow

    Mikedin’s garden center, Let’s grow!

Haven't had a chance to post in a while, finally installed second layer of trellis and going to flip to 12/12 on Friday. Finally getting proper drybacks daily so things are good to go.

    Let's See Your Frostiest Flowers

This looks absolutely amazing, nugs look very small though, how does she yield? Reminds me of some of the in house genetics strains I grew while phenohunting, sometimes I'd get something that looks amazing but the bud size and yield just didn't make it worth it to grow for anything other then...

New Grower Need Help With Sad Clones :(

Two things: 1)Was the coco coir buffered and then flushed of excess salts? 2)Is the ph down you are using phosphoric acid?

    Rockwool high PH HELP PLEASE

Correct, slightly higher then neutral at 7.5 but after the cubes have been soaked in ph adjusted water they should be stable at 5.5 or 6... don't know, I won't mess with rockwool again untill I've personally spent some time at a facility that uses it successfully. My clones root perfectly in...

    Rockwool high PH HELP PLEASE

Just wanted to do an update for anyone who might have wondered what happened. I ended up transplanting the plants into 25L pots with coco/perlite and the issues with runoff ph being high went away. The 6 and 8" rockwool blocks was a cheap brand (the 4" blocks were grodan) and I think there may...

New growth is yellowing, twisting and looking very weird overall. Any help would be very appreciated.

These people that think outdoor van match indoor potency are delusional. With indoor you can have the perfect conditions ALL THE TIME. Tempratures and humidity will NEVER be perfect outdoors. My brain hurts from reading this nonsense.

Are you planning on taking cuttings from these plants?

Cannabis THC and CBD grow journal

Why did you decide on going with soil? Wouldn't it have been easier to run higher plant counts in coir especially when using bottle nutrients and smaller pots anyway?

Cannabis THC and CBD grow journal

Too much wind slows down photosynthesis because the plants have to spend more energy on making thicker stems to keep themselves upright instead of making big flowers, more isn't always better brother. A good quality silica supplement used as a foliar spray once a week will get you thicker stems...

Are you sure it's the quest 155? The "quest 70" isnt 70L its like 30... I use the 155's (2 per room with four tables (4 x 8's) with a 3 ton AC. I can't imagine that you need two for a one bench 3 light room? Why do you have 8 fans in a 1 bench room ?🤔

Help!! New to forum need help...what is wrong with my girl???

Judging on the amount I'd stretch that LED is no way near an actual 1000w led. Typically the mid range LED's need to be 720-745w to come match the footprint and intensity of a 1000w hps se. You probably have one of those blurple LED's that "claim" to be be equivalent to 1600w which is BS. Post a...

Growing in 3rd World Conditions (Cuba) att #2

This isn't accurate brother. Low humidity will mean the plant has to use more energy to cool themselves down because they use significantly more water. Because they use more water the amount of fertilizer applied also goes down... having a good vpd is key. If I grow outside in the summer (I stay...

Growing in 3rd World Conditions (Cuba) att #2

Water in the open like that with a light source is going to grow alge brother, get some panda film and put it up in front of the cupboard 👍💪 Your soil also seems very woody, maybe go over to peat mixed with some worm castings and perlite when you transplant to bigger containers in a couple of...

    Rockwool high PH HELP PLEASE

The sad part is I bought 4 boxes of 12 8x8x8 inch cubes that I won't be using if I can't get to the bottom of this Thank you for the reply. These are mother plants so I don't have any drippers etc installed in this tent, I have a open room that I use to flower plants in and a separate tent for...

    Rockwool high PH HELP PLEASE

The plants are on a wooden 4 x 8 table lined with panda film, the table is at a slight angle so the water drains off the one side in a tote with a submersible pump running outside. They are on 15mm pvc pipes to keep them off the "tray". The nutrients are just plain generic salts... a part a and...

    Rockwool high PH HELP PLEASE

I am at my wits end. I have been using coco coir/perlite for years and recently went over to rockwool. Everything went great up untill 3 days ago when I noticed that the PH was drifting upwards (runoff 6.2, input 5.6) I also noticed that the resavoir ph would climb to 6.1 or 6.2 over night even...
