Seedlings don't have the root system to drink water yet so you might be overwatering. Only way these little ones get water right now is through the leaves. What you want to do is put a clear dome on it and get that humidity WAY up. 40% is late bloom territory. You need around 70-80% humidity to...
THIS. I'm definitely a visual learner and I need something like this for sure. In my head I know that, say, plants in bloom need less nitrogen and more P/K.. but I'm only guessing at the NER...I'll use like, half of part A or some sht. Yeah, this table rips dude. MOAAR CONTROLLL!!!
I know this thread is a few months old but I thought I'd share my "keep it cheap and simple" approach to cloning.
I look for the lowest branches possible that are about 8" long and have at least 3 non-symmetrical nodes. Reason being rooting hormones are more abundant in the bottoms of plants...
Exactly. Coco is a trip man...so many nuances but definitely a fantastic substrate. My runoff is always either the same as what I put in, or really fkn close...like +0.1-0.2 at most. If it's more than 0.3 from base, I'll dump another liter in and the next runoff that comes out is the same as...
Yeah EC is higher than usual at this stage. I'd probably be around 1.0-1.2 typically...it worries me a bit too, but I'm told that you can really hammer them when your VPD is dialed and so far there's no burnt tips or curling. I have cuttings from all 6 so if it doesn't work I'll back off next...
Rooted and vegged 2 weeks in solo cups, then into final containers 4x 5 gallon 2x 3 gallon... I usually transplant to 1 gallons, then finals. Trying a bunch of new shit this time so having a few issues is inevitable hah
Thanks, I know I didn't add enough perlite for a 5g...definitely should've been closer to 50/50. I'm guessing it would probably take 3-4 days to fully dry out (which I only do after flushing week 2/5 of bloom). They're drinking more now that I've raised temperatures so I'm probably looking at...
Hmm I've created a "perched water table"... interesting. First time I've done this, and it was on purpose. I've always just mixed the whole container on previous grows. I probably won't do this next time as it looks like there's more area with the correct moisture level without the bottom layer...
Just an update on the leaf cupping issue. I've got it sorted out now. Thanks to everyone for their input. Number of issues, but one thing I didn't think of was temperature. Leaves were cold to the touch so I boosted overall temperatures from 25 to 28c for lights on, 20 to 24c for lights off...
Veg as long as you want, depending how big you may want to pot up so they don't get root bound. Otherwise just let them recover from pruning/defoliating before you flip
I've used it as a root treatment for fungus gnat eggs at a 1:4 ratio but that was watered in. I don't see any reason that wouldn't work as a foliar application, just might have to dial that ratio back. I'd be interested to know if that works though. Snap Crackle Pop!
Maybe the leaf came out twisted and it uncurled to that? Or an accident? Looks like tears to me. I feel like I often tear leaves near the bottom when I pinch a leaf between the container and my fingers...you can put a magnifier on the leaves and thoroughly check the tops and bottoms to be safe...
Sensizym is a root cleanser so I'd say no. Never looked into it. I generally don't foliar feed but I had a pH reader go out of calibration and everything was 0.5 under what the reader said. I'm doing a foliar spray of MgS04 1 tbsp / 5 L water @ 5.8 pH as soon as the lights kick on. Magnesium...
Foliar feeding works best right at lights on when the stomata are open. Go easy with it, try 1/2 strength of the bottle directions and remember to adjust the pH. If you have a wetting agent, that's recommended, but not totally necessary. You just want a fine mist to cover the leaves without...
If you have a vitamin B additive, it helps for stress events. I hear Epsom salts can help with stress from transplanting as well. That baby will heal no problem tho. I used painters tape on a big snapped branch and that worked lol. I wouldn't sweat it too much my guy
