Herbies Seeds experiences: what were your hits, misses, and what would you run again?

Yeah, exactly. I really want to believe my experience has actually leveled up lol. And honestly, I also get that nature is gonna be nature, you should always expect some surprises and mood swings from her 😅 but right now it really feels like I’ve made real progress and I lowkey feel like a...

Herbies Seeds experiences: what were your hits, misses, and what would you run again?

I’ve had a pretty mixed but interesting experience with Herbies genetics over time, and this run really made me think about how much perspective changes with experience. A while back I grew a similar OG from them, and that first attempt was honestly rough. She got stuck very early into flower...

What type of deficiency is this

Looks like potassium deficiency to me. How do you feed it? Also, what pH levels are the soil and the water you use?

How do YOU handle bugs and such?

Best approach is to stay ahead of it with prevention. I like to use sticky traps, keep the grow area clean, and inspect plants regularly — especially under the leaves. For actual infestations, neem oil or insecticidal soap can help early on, but in flower I usually go with something like lost...

    Stopping in to learn.

Great to have you here — this is a solid place to learn and share. Don’t hesitate to ask questions, no matter how small they seem. Everyone starts somewhere, and you’ll pick things up faster than you think. Looking forward to seeing your grow journey!

First hydro grow and would like some tips

Looks like you’re off to a solid start! Biggest tips for hydro: keep your water temps in check (65–70°F is ideal), monitor pH daily (aim for 5.8–6.2), and make sure you’ve got plenty of oxygen in the root zone — an airstone goes a long way. Less is often more when it comes to nutrients...

Spots all over leaves during bloom

Those spots could be a few things — common culprits during bloom are calcium deficiency, pH issues, or early signs of pests like spider mites. I’d start by double-checking your pH range to make sure nutrients are getting absorbed properly. Also take a close look at the undersides of the leaves...

Grown since 2025! Backyard shed edition!

You’ve got a solid setup going there — reminds me of the kind of grows we used to run before everything went high-tech. Sometimes the shed grows bring out the best results with the right care and attention. Looking forward to seeing how it all finishes up. Keep it going steady

Up and running for the 2nd time..

Good to see you back at it. Second runs are where a lot of the lessons from the first really start to pay off. Just keep things simple and steady — the plants will show you what they need. Wishing you a smooth grow ahead

Big Al’s 2025 season indoor/outdoor grow in misery

You’ve got quite the season shaping up, and I have to say, it’s always a pleasure seeing someone put in the work both indoors and out. Reminds me of how we used to do it before everything got automated. Keep it steady and stay ahead of that Missouri weather — she can turn on a dime. Looking...

    New grower question

The plant looks actually great and I do not see any severe issues, just MIGHT BE you overdid a little with trimming. Well, just keep a good feeding but do not overfeed and she'll be fine. Blooming nicely!

New auto room up and running

Nice, and how's that thing show itself? I mean, It's probably hard to light it all up cuz it's not just like placing a led over it and it's fine, the upper layers will cover up the lower and from the side too...how did you light it to cover all the plants?

My pistils are turning orange in week 3-4

To be fair I do not see any issues with that plant, at least not something that require immediate treatment, the orange thing is just a phenotype I guess, no much worry about it
