    Are these too tall/skinny?

We absolutely need to adjust and actually raise the light intensity slowly throughout the veg stage and then blast it in flower. There are some studies done by leading experts in the industry that are showing certain cultivars can and will easily handle up to 800 PPFD from day one of sprout and...

    Humidity or not humidity issue?

    82. Fahrenheit is OK like as long as it doesn’t go up to 85 or above you should be fine and if there’s anyway you can add supplemental CO2, you can go into the middle of 80s and the plants will still photosynthesize because of the extra CO2 and heat. Even for seedlings, I would suggest only...

    Humidity or not humidity issue?

Yeah, you can grow plants without paying attention to VPD, but the overall quality of the end product is going to suffer greatly And honestly, it’s actually really easy to dial in VPD even in a small tent from my experience

    Humidity or not humidity issue?

I have a feeling it’s probably written about somewhere on the Internet, but my gut instinct tells me to the humidity probe as close as you can get to the center of the tent and in the canopy. The fan sensor I would place up a bit since heat rises and you want to vent that

    Humidity or not humidity issue?

Even a week old seedling is going to be pulling moisture in the rise zone and out of the soil but yes, they do transpire as well as absorb water and humidity with the leaves. Maybe you’re thinking of clone cuts that HAVE to be misted regularly or otherwise kept in high humidity since the only...

    Humidity or not humidity issue?

This for sure…. My digital, IR, leaf reading VPD gun from AC Infinity is in the mail now and it’s only like $40

    Humidity or not humidity issue?

The FF soil nutrients alone will be good for a month tops and less time if you’re growing a heavy feeding cultivar like chem genetics. Now I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Advanced Genetics, but they have redundant products for crazy prices and you don’t even need their entire line up...

    Hey Gromies!

Awesome!!! I’m actually in the Eastern Panhandle right on the Potomac but hell yeah! If you’re down we should have a smoke sesh sometime and kick it

    Hey Gromies!

I’m a legacy grower in the Shenandoah River Valley. All the old heads that lived off grid in treehouses and supplied the area with green when I was a kid learned me and growing is my life’s passion.

    Are these too tall/skinny?

Hard to guesstimate but I would say try running it at 40-50% with a distance of 16” from the tops of the plants. Just keep an eye on them since if it’s too much for that cultivar it’ll show you real fast

    Are these too tall/skinny?

I’m not trying to overcomplicate things and we’re in full agreement about learning to listen to the plants since they’ll always tell you what they need. I brought up PPFD because the closer or the more intense the light is can cause a seedling to stretch a lot or be squat with tight intermodal...

    Are these too tall/skinny?

🤣🤣🤣 I don’t blame ya on the app thing! Shucks, it may be just on iOS but I feel bad for not thinking about it lol What Mars Hydro light and wattage are you running? I’ll see if I can do the math or if there’s any charts online. I know for my veg tents I pretty much run the lights at like 75%...

    Are these too tall/skinny?

They do charge for certain features, but they have pretty much the entire range of different lights that we might use

    Humidity or not humidity issue?

Thought about a humidifier or maybe using a larger space?

    Are these too tall/skinny?

Download Photone app to measure the light intensity. PPFD is how we measure the light our ladies get, it’s photon density per square foot essentially

    Humidity or not humidity issue?

VPD or Vapor Pressure Deficit. It’s essentially a measure of (canopy/leaf) temperature combined with RH levels. There’s a sweet spot for all growth stages and seedlings usually like a higher humidity like clones, minimum of 60% but no more than about 85%. It’s a general rule to have your...

    Are these too tall/skinny?

Can you raise the light intensity? Like try running 400-500 PPFD and keep an eye on VPD, should see a difference
