Mine is 3" as well, I think he is mistaken on it being 4", Gary uses 3" pvc and bulkhead. I love mine, I'm on my 5th grow with mine.

Did you clean the hydroton really good? What's your PH? How do the roots look? 800-900 PPM seems a little high to me but shouldn't be frying them like that.

Has anyone gotten the AC Infinity hydro sensors and their doser for PH up and down? Wondering what people think about it. I would have to buy a new controller, the sensors and doser and it would be a decent investment and want to see other people's expiration with them.

I am RDWC and use RO water, it starts out at 4PPM and I add about 10% tap water back to it as my buffer and that seems to be working.

Yeah.... If I followed that, I'd still be adding Cal-Mag. Was always the bottom fan leaves turning brown/yellow.
