Bad batch of F1s from RQS or are they all bad?

Well, but I mean have you tried leaving them in there until they grow a tail or you pull them before they grow a tail? If your current method fails, I'd suggest you try leaving them in there until they grow a tail (or sink, in which case try the paper towel method).

Bad batch of F1s from RQS or are they all bad?

Have you tried letting them float in a cup until they grow a tail?

    Auto flower problems

If they were autos, they would have started to flower after like a month and would be done or close to done by now. I'm going to guess lst'ing caused stunted growth?

What happens if I have to harvest a little early!?

I remember once I harvested too early and all it did was give me a nasty headache for the same length I would have been high. If I remember correctly it looked like what you're holding now, but either way I would wait at least another 7 days, then ask this same question.

Topping / pinching autoflowers: Triple G, northern lights Autoflower

No, I know you didn't say they suck. I was actually going to add into the question that there is no underlying meaning to the question. The question did happen to arise because of the strong opinion Gnick55 voiced out, but I wasn't connecting that to you. In an isolated conversation I wanted to...

Topping / pinching autoflowers: Triple G, northern lights Autoflower

I'd like to ask you a hypothetical. If your auto came out very small (like a foot tall) and then you were shown the potential size for autoflowers, that were much bigger (like twice as big or three times as big) would you still say autoflowers overall suck?. Or would you hold back that idea and...

Cool, will take this to heart.

    Yellow leaves!! After transfer!!

I didn't mean to imply seeds "won't sink". I know they do. I just forgot whether them sinking was a part of the "successful" process of germinating them during that method. I know with floating they're not. So when they sink, might as well toss them.

I'd say that. How old is that plant from seed?

    Is this in flower stage

Flower or pre-flower. If it stays looking just like that for a week or two, don't think they're frozen in time. Sometimes it will stay like that for a little while before you see the buds grow any more.

    Yellow leaves!! After transfer!!

I respect your opinion. I'm glad to hear it. I actually wonder whether the fridge will keep them good for a year or two. That's why I try to rush through them so they don't die out before I get to use them which would be a waste. I don't have much experience with hanging onto seeds for years...

    Yellow leaves!! After transfer!!

No, I meant for storing seeds long term like while you wait to germinate them. When you germinate, it is supposed to be like warm or at least room temperature. I do the floating method in room temperature. Seeds aren't supposed to sink. You want them to stay floating. Never let them sink...

    Yellow leaves!! After transfer!!

Also, in case you didn't know I read that the best way to store seeds is in a cold dark place like a fridge.

    Yellow leaves!! After transfer!!

Before I moved to the floating method, I had heard stories about (if they sink don't sink). But the thing is I haven't seen may at all sink since I started that method, but I don't think people were lying about them sinking. I just think it comes from another problem totally apart from the...

    Yellow leaves!! After transfer!!

Nope, just a regular small coffee cup. Plain tap water, put it in a drawer and check it after like a day, then you'll want to check it frequently and I mean frequently. Every hour or two because before you know it it will pop and quickly.

    Yellow leaves!! After transfer!!

My suggestion is to do what I started doing (again, something I picked up off a guy on youtube). Strictly germinate them by floating method and wait until they grow a tail and then directly put them into soil. I get 100% germination with this since I started. Only problem is that they germinate...

Topping / pinching autoflowers: Triple G, northern lights Autoflower

for 8-10 autoflowers? Do you know how big autoflowers get on average (if done right)? Are you planning on lst'ing them? Are you trying to just get rid of the seeds or take advantage of their max potential? Reason I ask is that I have the feeling a lot of people think lst'ing is a good idea for...

5 vs. 3-gallon pots with Orians

Out of curiosity, have you done the math on what the additional cost is for the soil in the bigger pot vs what the yield is and whether that additional cost is actually gaining you a much higher amount of yield or if you would be no worse off if you just saved the money for the soil in the...
