So to confirm you broke up the big buds and dried them on a hanging rack?

Is there any risk of the hay smell if I break them down and put them in a vertical dry rack? Every other place I have seen for drying advice they say the mesh racks dry out too fast and give you lack lustre weed.

So far the drying space has been 54 humidity and about 72F during the day. Have the dehumidifier set at 50 for the garage it's in. I am wondering If maybe I should keep the large colas intact for a week and then break them down to avoid the hay smell. I feel like if I break up the large colas...

I am debating this myself, but have never done it. I would be worried it would dry too fast and I would have hay smelling buds. Do you just cut the big colas into quarters or how do you do it?

I will admit I am a bit concerned and I would hate to lose premium bud to mold. I made the mistake of watering my plant the day before I chopped it and when I feel the large buds you can tell there is alot of moisture in them. Really squishy. Not sure if I should break them down or not.

I had a fan pointed at them directly for 12 hours to make sure all the water from the wash was gone. Now the fan in underneath them blowing to the side, so nothing directly on the buds, but hopefully still circulating the air. Typically I would dry in my tent, but I have another plant in there...

Two stroke Lemonade has been cut down and hung to dry. Decided to do a bud wash due to the aphids I was fighting, Didnt get as much gunk off as I thought, but the water was still decently dirty. Curious to see how easy the dry is, I have never had soda can sized top colas before.

I actually never have gotten run off this grow. I put in 1gal into the 5 gal pot and while it is very saturated, none comes out the bottom. Which is odd, cause previous goes in the same medium has given me run off.

I am having issues lower down on ht plant now too, so I dont think it's the light. It's pretty dialled back as far as PPFD goes.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind when I start growing next spring, Ill keep on with the nuts I am using for this outdoor grow and hopefully it can maintain a healthy plant for the next month.

Yup I have cal mag, I think I have given it once or twice already, but I will again next time I water. Potassium it gets from my FloraBloom.
