Only two of my strains grow up to the glass. I do get bleaching on the very very top of the cola but the increase in yield being that close to the light offsets the bleach-loss ten fold.

I have some rooms running Lumenaire 8's, some running Growlite OG hoods. I'm switching all of my rooms to the OG's as they crop out. The OG hood with a 600 watter will out-produce any other hood with a 1000 watter in it though.

I have run both and there is absolutely no argument here... 1k watters all day. The yield is much, much greater with 1k's. I run all air cooled now and my tops can grow against the glass on my hoods with no problems except for some bleaching. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON 6's, PLEASE!!

I highly recomend Drieaz 1200 dehums. I run quite a few of them and have never had a problem. They are also readily available in the used market. I also run Ebac Dehums with no issues but they are less frequently available.
