If your clones are in a clone machine, then it doesn't matter what the humidity is in the room. Clones need a very high humidity, which it should be in your cloner anyway.

My humidity is between 60 - 70 at the minute for 26 plants, and they are in top condition. I switched them to 12/12 a week ago, so in the next few days I will aim to get the humidity down to 40 - 50 to prevent bud rot.

Can't comment from experience, as only ever used 600W. But I have been advised from experienced growers in the past to stick with 600W, as 1000W have no real benefits, but obviously more expensive.

I've seen other designs on the forum, where a loop has been used instead of 2 stop ends like I have used. I thought that the pump would be powerful enough to use on this system, but obviously not. I like the idea of a second pump! I suppose, they would have to be 2 pumps exactly the same though...
